In Trastevere House

There were so many amazing positives about staying at the In Trastevere House - Daniele and Louella were extremely kind and helpful from restaurant suggestions, how to get around town, and anything else we needed. They are extremely kind. - 2 quick ideas, make reservations directly on their site, see if you can get a discount for paying cash - The room is very modern, very clean, and has a nice little balcony. We faced the street and I was concerned about noise, but, they have shutters that basically block that out. - Location this is where all the food tours go, better food than in the city. The 8 tram takes you in town in 5 minutes, a taxi stand about 100 yds away. Walk to most areas in less than 2 miles. The area seemed extremely safe. I walked around at night and saw no issues. - Breakfast - we liked Giselde. You can upgrade to the American breakfast which had eggs, meat, ham, oj, and a roll. - The room has a coffee maker, bottles for water (refillable in the kitchen), yogurt, fruit and fruit drinks all at no additional charge. In Trastevere House is definitely the place to stay when in Rome.

What a perfect place to start and end every day of our experience in Rome. Our hosts were incredibly welcoming from the moment they opened the entry gate and carried our bags upstairs for us. We had so much space in our room! The bed was firm but comfy, and the bathroom was well stocked with shampoo, conditioner, body lotion, and a hair dryer. Towels were a little thin and scratchy, but…that's Europe for ya, baby. Our room on the back of the building had two sets of doors leading to a large balcony overlooking a bustling but quiet courtyard, always providing dappled sun and a nice breeze. Filtered water — sparkling, still, or ice-cold! — is waiting in the mini-fridge, and there's a self-serve machine in the communal kitchen. Plus nice wine glasses, little plates, cutlery and more for an in-room aperitivo if you wish. I won't dock a star for this, but if you're looking for more than calories to fuel you for the morning, pass on the breakfast pastries at Giselda. They're dry and too sweet — it's a shame that the second "B" in this B&B comes up so woefully short. Overall, just a wonderful spot in the heart of Trastevere, we would not hesitate to stay here again!

Amazing hidden gem in Trastevere! Location was ideal for what we wanted, not too far from any of the main tourist spots. The hosts communication was great throughout our stay and nothing was too much trouble for them. Thank you for having us, I cannot recommend highly enough :)

The accommodation is in a great location in Trastevere being a short walk to the old town area shops and restaurants. There are bus stops near to the accommodation with regular buses to go further afield in Rome. A very comfortable room which also had a balcony overlooking the street. I had the breakfast option with is in the cafe just next door.

Great stay. Daniele were always available and helpful. Great location close to good Trastavere restaurants and walking distance to Rome center. We have nothing to complain about. We will definately go back.

Great location and very clean room. The staff were very kind. We had balcony and it was really nice bonus to the room. If you are sensitive with street noises during the night maybe this is not for you. That is the only minus with this place. Location is really good!
