Motel Carnarvon

A bit unexpectedly we had to stay in Roma the night. It is a busy town and many of the motels were already booked so we were pleased to get a room at the Motel Carnarvon. As it turned out, very pleased. It is a big motel and seemed to extremely well run, right down to the under-cover parking outside the rooms. Our room was spacious with a queen and single beds and with a large bathroom that was friendly to those with mobility issues. Spotlessly clean, comfy bed, strong wifi, a table and a couple of chairs. It ticked all our boxes. Everything worked ... plus it's close to town. The room rate is not inexpensive but then I got the impression there aren't a lot of cheap rooms in Roma. In that framework it was pretty good value for money.

Everything was perfect. Inviting. Clean. Lovely bed. Great tv. Lovely spacious bathroom. Great people. Very kind. We walked to town great food. The town of Roma was a great place to stop. It’s a lively town made better by the motel Carnarvon. Thank you so much for your hospitality.

We chose this motel as it is pet friendly. Currently rated 3 stars but I'd rate it 5 star. Facilities are very clean, having a BBQ area and guest laundry were a bonus and having our fur baby with us makes me give it a 10/10. The rooms are older but have everything you need and very clean and tidy. Staff were friendly and very accommodating. Highly recommend!

Very friendly service, and the motel room is ver clean and comfortable. My room also had great amenities for The disabled. It is situated close to the town centre. I would definitely recommend staying here if travelling to Roma.

I visit Motel Carnarvon on a regular basis for work and pleasure. No matter the reason for the trip, it's always wonderful! The staff are friendly and caring and will do everything in their power to make you comfortable. Special mention to Col and Nantiya, and Helen and Dianne. The motel is spotlessly clean and comfortable. Rooms are serviced daily. Complementary water, tea, coffee and biscuits. The amenities are great. Pool is awesome in summer and the two bbqs in the outdoor entertaining area means there's enough room for everyone. Discount if you book direct. 5 stars.

Very well managed, clean motel close to the CBD. Thoughtful additions in rooms. Lovely yard for companion dogs. Comfortable beds, warm blankets, good heating. Will happily stay again. Videos to borrow at reception. Takeaway options. Wish all motels were like this.

Two night stay here on a recent trip to Roma travelling with our Border Collie. Motel is pet friendly in the front rooms so there is a little road noise although the road noise was not as troubling as I thought it might be. Motel doesn't discriminate between dog breeds and we really appreciate being able to stay with our Border Collie. The rooms are very clean. The pet friendly rooms are older style and the bathroom is really quite small but clean. It was very cold at night during our stay but the room had heating and we were very cosy. There is a really good sized TV. Foxtel but no netflix but really good WiFi. Free DVDs as well. Bed was comfy. Really good arrangement with local hotels and restaurants were they deliver to your door and motel provides plates and cutlery free of charge. Manager and staff were pleasant to deal with. We had a good stay here and we would stay again.

We stayed one night, 2 couples with dogs. Both rooms were spotless, absolutely spotless! Even though the style of the bathroom was older, it was sparkling clean, even the grout. We loved the back door to the lawn area where we could take the dogs (a couple of steps down at the back door). Loved the car port roof as it was raining making unpacking/packing the car much better. The room had a small fridge with a decent freezer. Beds were comfortable. It wasn't a huge room, but it was big enough for us for a night. The staff were friendly and accommodating.
