Auberge St Francois

Thank you very much for the great hospitality. The staff member was caring and very professional. The room was well maintained and clean. We enjoyed the service at the restaurant and the delicious food served. Mrs Fanie and all her colleagues were very kind and always ready to help my family. Peaceful environment. Thanks for everything, we will definitely visit Auberge St Francois again.

My friend and I stayed at the Auberge beggining of December for 5 nights.There werent many reviews in English for the guest house because they must be all in French! the guests were French or Reunnais when we stayed. The guest house is clean, well kept and built in a traditional style. It is situated 2 minutes walk across a road to the beautiful beach.The bus stop to other parts of the island is next to the guest house which is very convenient or the manager can arrange a taxi.We booked a taxi transfer to and from the airport to the gh as there werent many other options.The bus service starts and ends at St Francois passing through Mont Limon on its way to Prt Mathurin. We booked dinner at the gh as there are minimal choices to eat out in the evening unless you take a taxi to Cotton Bay ,most of the cafes and restaurants are open for lunch only. The food is well cooked and traditional Rodriques cuisine.There is limited choice of only one starter,main and dessert but delicious. Breakast is buffet style with the option of cooked eggs and a local delicacy each morning.I want to mention the amazing staff here - Shivonette & Fanie the cooks and bar staff who gave us delicious meals and TI Punch in the evening, Emily at breakfast who cooked us eggs, Sandy the manager who helped us with our excursions and taxi, Marlane and here team of cleaners who kept the place spotless. Sorry if I missed anyone out but you were all so friendly and helpful. I would definately stay here again and have already recommended it to a friend
