After having a problem in our first room, the gentleman who was covering the night shift helped us by giving us another room. The first room we were in only had a mattress on a plywood board and bed frame which was too low to the ground for my elderly father to get up and off of. The new room was larger and had regular beds and was clean and comfortable. The views to the St Lawrence were lovely and the grounds were nicely kept. I thought breakfast was included but it was only muffins but found a great cafe in town for crepes.

Little chalet with view on the St-Laurence. Extremely clean and cozy. Client service was top notch! The young man at the entrance was so nice and his smile was contagious. When I asked if I could have two glass for wine he took me to this little hidden shed where one could find anything from glass to plates, etc.

We stayed here twice in late June - both going to Newfoundland and returning. We had the same cabin both times - it was great, 2 queen size beds, full kitchen, etc. Beds were very comfortable. Check-in was efficient and staff were friendly. The only negative thing is the shower - it is small with low water pressure and therefore hard to rinse off and impossible to dry off inside the shower stall.

We stayed one night on the road to Maritimes in a two-bedroom cottage. The place is small but well-appointed, very clean and cute. The bed was comfy. The grounds are well-kept with a kids play area and have a spectacular view of the St-Lawrence. The check-in was fast and with a smile. Ideal for a road-trip stop and a base to explore the region!

Booked a cabin 6 months ago, drove 10 hours to get here only to be told that they did not have my reservation and they had nothing available only another motel 3 minutes away, no view, no kitchen. They said they could match the $140 cost but when I looked up the motel it was actually $119 a night so another rip off, no discount for their screw up. I brought food to cook expecting a kitchen, but the room we got had no kitchen and fridge didn’t work so cannot save food for another day. So disappointed with what I was hoping to be a lovely experience in Riviere du loop. I would avoid this place at all costs!!!!

Apologies for the tardy review. This says we visited in Oct 2022. We actually stayed on our way to and from the Maritimes in Aug 2021 and Sept 2021. Perfect place for a road trip stop. Schitt’s Creek feel to it. Lovely grounds. Stayed in a chalet. Basic comfortable. Location is superb on the banks of the St Lawrence. Sunset perfect

We arrived very late and had made arrangements for the key to be left for us which was awesome of them. The cabin was cozy and comfortable and well needed after a long drive. When we went outside in the morning, we saw the great surroundings of the motel. There was a large area where families could use for picnics and we were much closer to the water than we realized when we arrived in the dark. We will definitely stay here again when we are back in the area.

Parfait endroit pour 1 nuit lors d’un long voyage. Dans le passé nous avions dormi dans les petits chalets et cette fois-ci dans le motel. Bon service, propre et superbe vue sur le fleuve. Grand terrain avec chaises et balançoires. Parfait en famille avec des enfants. Balcon pour notre chambre avec superbe vue. Chambre spacieuse. Nous reviendrons sûrement!

Nous y avons passé une nuit avec pitou en route pour la Gaspésie. Chambre très propre, petite cuisinette toute équipée, de l’espace pour les chiens, vue magnifique sur le fleuve. Tout était parfait! Je regrette de ne pas avoir réservé une autre nuit au retour!
