Hotel Yog Vashishth

The hotel is located on a very narrow lane close to Parmarth Niketan ashram, the parking is little far from the hotel. The hotel is very small, but location is good, walking distance from janaki bridge, and ghat. The rooms are clean, but the breakfast options are very limited, also there is not much space in the hotel. All in all, okay if you are there for just a few days and need to get around on foot without the need of a vehicle. The hotel also has tie up with the rafting and can be tied up with them.

Pre-Arrival Coordination: Quick and helpful response from the hotel team. They informed us about a local car strike, which helped us plan our travel from Haridwar easily. Smooth Check-In: Warm welcome with bottled water and a very polite front desk team. Check-in was fast and well-managed. Guided Room Introduction: A courteous butler personally escorted us to the room and explained all amenities clearly. Professional Housekeeping: The housekeeping staff were very professional and maintained the room neatly throughout the stay. Spacious & Comfortable Room: Clean, airy, with a soft bed and modern bathroom (only a shaving kit was missing). Excellent Vegetarian Restaurant: Wide menu with North & South Indian, Chinese, Italian, and Continental options. Breakfast was delicious, and staff accommodated our no-onion, no-garlic request gladly. Prime Location: Just a short walk to Parmarth Niketan, Gita Bhavan, Ram Jhula, and Janaki Setu—ideal for exploring Rishikesh on foot. Overall Impression: A peaceful, well-managed property with friendly staff and great food.

The hotel is good. If primary idea to visit Parmarth Niketan Ashram then this is an ideal property. 5 min walk from the ghat and market. View rooms are good especially 402, bed linen is clean, staff is good, cafe on roof top is excellent, food is superb, service is good. Bathroom cleanliness was just okay. Overall a mid range hotel with above average services. Price wise a bit more in the season. Entry in narrow lane, not great,but quite close to the ghats.

It was a very pleasant stay. Very close to the Parmarth Ghat, and the adjoining market area. The mornings around are very calm and serene. The property in itself lives up to its billing, very good infrastructure, management, and food. On this note, special acknowledgement for the chef, for a near perfect menu and taste.

Stayed here with my wife for 15 nights during our stay in Rishikesh ..Just a lovely hotel , with great staff , lovely room , rootop restaurant serving inclusive breakfast and a range of tasty dishes ..
