We enjoyed staying here. The views overlooking the postcard perfect town of Riomaggiore and the sea were breathtaking. We sat out on our own private terrace and enjoyed the sunset after a strenuous hike to Vernazza. Our room was beautifully decorated and very clean. The staff were courteous and friendly. I could not recommend this hotel more!

First and foremost, Andrea was the perfect host/hostess. The room is awesome, with a super quaint and cozy feel. The espresso machine was a much appreciated amenity. If you stay anywhere in Cinque Terre, THIS is truly the place to stay! We couldn't ask for more!!!

My wife and I just left Sailors Rest this morning after our 3 day stay and can’t say enough good things about this place. The staff is absolutely amazing and so friendly and helpful. Our room was extremely clean with well manicured grounds. It’s amazing to sit on your private patio and smell the many lemon trees that are growing everywhere. They serve a wonderful breakfast to get your day started. With just a short walk through some small but wonderful alleys you reach the heart of Riomaggiore. The location is perfect and the value is even better.

No balcony with nice view
Check in BEFORE 7 or u dont get in luckily he made exception for me but gave me a hard time . I dint read all rules prior so my mistake but still... i would rate it higher but there really isnt a balcony with a view.. u have to go upstairs and use another person balcony but DOESNT HAVE THE NICE VIEW ...
Only reason i booked was for the balcony view..
Also crazy amount of stairs ...

Balcony was not attached to property. It says private patio, but you have to go up even more stairs to get to it. Should tell people how many stairs you have to climb to get there. The bed is loft bed. You have to climb up to it. Not good at night. Very little head room clearance. Better options in La Spezia.

The view was amazing. Matched by the hospitality. We were provided plenty of cold water on arrival & welcome wine & gourmet snacks was a nice surprise. We had exceptional weather but definitely an amazing experience sipping wine 2on our private terrace watching the sun go down. Room was also exceptional, very comfy bed.
