Santa Barbara Eco-Beach Resort

Where to begin! The best way to describe it is understated luxury. We had a blue and green studio with the shared pool and it was so nice. The terrace was private and we would go out there at the end of a long day of touring and relax with a glass of wine and a swim. Breakfasts were wonderful and we looked forward to the different juices every day. Dinner was beyond and I am making my husband make me that asparagus roasted pumpkin appetizer at home. The octopus rice was !!!!! The grounds are super zen with incredible views over Santa Barbara beach. The staff was incredibly lovely. Really stellar. We hope to be back someday!

Lovely place. Blue and green suite with deck and swim up pool were great. Staff very warm and kind. Breakfast was excellent, although 0800 start time is late. Sadly we had to leave early on our last day and asked about breakfast options. They offered a breakfast box which was very underwhelming. We asked about having coffee delivered also and they could not accommodate this. Seems for the price and level of this hotel, they’d had better options for early in the morning. Dinner view was spectacular. We had the most gorgeous sunset! We were advised to make a reservation, which we did. When we booked dinner, we asked for a table outside and they said it would be depending on availability? Seems odd and like the reservation was pointless. Luckily we arrived a bit early for our reservation, because there was only one outside table left, and they told us we should go ahead and be seated or someone else would take that table. Overall a great stay, but these few experiences with the dining could be improved, especially for a resort of this level and price point.

This hotel is outstanding! The staff is incredible - very kind and accommodating, especially Claudia at the front desk! They had great recommendations for things to do on the island and at the hotel. The views from the hotel are amazing and there is a relaxing infinity pool on site, but also a nearby public beach. The breakfast is delicious as well. Would definitely go back here again.

This place is amazing! The staff, food, accommodations, and surrounds are second to non. They went out of their way to ensure that our stay was not only memorable but amazing. The location is a short drive to a lot of must see attractions and sites. Highly recommended!

We stayed here for three nights in a two bedroom garden space. I would have to disagree with the reviewers who had complaints about the accommodations. We found the beds to be comfortable, pillows to be great and the space to work really well for a couple and one child. I could see if you shared the space with two couples, you may have issue that one bathroom only has a tub and no shower. One area they could improve is to offer more than two chairs on the deck given the space is two bedroom. The hot tub was nice. It is not super private with the next door neighbors but that wasn’t a big deal for us. I did have an issue one of the days when they were building a gazebo very close, banging for multiple hours. I brought this up to the front desk and we did not hear the noise again. The power went out during our stay which seemed to be unique. The restaurant handled it well when the power returned. The food was delicious in the restaurant for all meals. Make sure you notify the staff if you have a food restriction. I could see if you stayed here for a week, that you would want more options as lunch and dinner offerings overlap. There are some wonderful nearby restaurants. My main issue comes from having to reserve the gym space. I think they do this because there is a massage area in the space. Given the large property it seems they could move the massage area somewhere else as this set up left us with few options to utilize the gym. I would definitely stay here again!
