Princess Sun Hotel

We arrived very late and were given a sandwich ( I'd recommend taking food as it was very dry ) but the reception staff were lovely and got us checked in very quickly & our bags were taken to our room. The hotel was clean throughout our stay but we did have an issue with ants ( I expect some in high season and we just kept this under control with some pest spray we brought ). We did also find that the tea, coffee etc was never restocked during our weeks stay which I found strange for a 4 star hotel. Food was okay, my partner who is a fussy eater struggled morning,afternoon & evening but I was fine mostly. There is a station outside the dining area with a lovely lady cooking mornings and evenings with pancakes, eggs, meats. Beside the pool bar there is food always on offer with a lovely gentleman cooking pizza all day. It's worth getting the shuttle bus down to the beach as the gyros there are amazing! We did find there that drinks were limited at the beach but still manageable. Drinks at the hotel were nice, they do have a premium cocktail list but there are plenty on the all inclusive. Manalese was a wonderful bar man, always friendly with a welcoming smile on his face and really made our holiday. All staff were very polite throughout our stay! The same people work the bars day and night and always really pleasant. There are 3 pools in total, didn't struggle for a sun bed on any of the days we were there. There is also slides We visited the spa and it was wonderful. There is a jacuzzi, sauna and gym in this location as well as showers & toilet facilities. Myself and my fiancé had a massage and it was delightful & so relaxing. Again, wonderful & polite staff. The animation team work tirelessly day and night, always high energy and coming round to see you daily. Holding events through the morning such as archery / football / volleyball in the pool. The evening entertainment for us as a younger couple was a bit of a let down. There is a kids disco at 20:30 followed by entertainment by the animation team 21:00-22:00. We found this to be very centered around children. Most nights we found the only other thing we could do is stay at the bar and play cards or just go back to the room. The odd time there was live music at the beach bar which was refreshing and this was really enjoyable. There is an on site market which is very convenient but prices are marked up ( likely due to convenience ). There is a few shops down the hill such as a supermarket and a few tourist shops but not much else apart from a lovely restaurant named 'NOSH' - Well worth a visit it was lovely. Down the hill also is a range of bus stops, we visited Lindos twice whilst here and it was 3€ per person on the bus which was well worth it. The area was wonderful waking up to a sea view every morning was worth the extra charge. Over all, we enjoyed our stay but I don't think it's the kind of hotel we were looking for in terms of entertainment / food but I would say it's worth the visi

I stayed at the Princess Sun Hotel with my two children. It was a lovely Hotel, and I would recommend it: FOOD I have stayed in various AI hotels in Greece and Spain. For my taste, personally, I found this hotel to have the tastiest food. My children who are fussy, never went hungry. Mexican night was my favourite. The pizza at the pool bar was fantastic, and freshly made. In AI hotels the food can become repetitive, but we stayed here for 14 nights and enjoyed the food. The drinks were great, and I'd especially recommend their iced coffee and cocktail menu. My children enjoyed the soft drinks and mocktails. ROOMS Rooms are cleaned daily; housekeeping works hards, as do all the staff. Air con was great; kept us cool during the heatwave. I could not fault the WiFi in the room. HOTEL All the staff always had a smile on their faces. The pool areas were clean and tidy. Sunbeds available until 10/11am each morning. Im happy to report this hotel had no sunbed wars. The animation team were enthusiastic, and they clearly work very hard at what they do. They work to include all guests in activities. In summary, this is a great hotel for families, and single parents travelling with their children. Perhaps, most importantly of all, for me; a single mother travelling with children by herself. .. Princess Sun Hotel was safe, friendly and welcoming.

As a family of with a 4 year old and a 2 year old we had a fantastic holiday. We arrived around 2 in the morning greeted by 2 lovely staff on the desk. We were given sandwiches and someone met us half way to show us to our room. Our room was beautiful. One of the bungalows on the top floor. Loads of space, nice beds, nice views from the balcony and a shower instead of a bath. The food and drinks were really good. A good amount of choice with all the things you’d expect from an all inclusive. All the staff made a fuss of our kids everyday. The location is a little bit far from the airport and other things when you are there. As a family that like to try different restaurants we did hat a taxi to Pefkos that cost us around €22 1 way. But if you just wanted a holiday with days by the pool it’s brilliant. We also used the free shuttle bus on our first day to go to the beach. You get to use the sun loungers for free and the drinks and food are included with the all inclusive. A day at the beach and it didn’t cost any extra, it’s a pebble beach but still a really nice touch. We loved our holiday and would recommend the hotel.
