Fabulous .... Where to start, after much research and knowing this being a little further out of the main centre than we would have liked the summer heat being so intense did make it feel a little to much sometimes however a taxi to main centre for 4 people was €8 each way, that is my 1 and only negative.. there were 2 restaurants in a 7 to 9 min walk, 1 down hill and 1 up, but well worth the small walk , Nikolas restaurant was so amazing we visited 3 times in 2 weeks. Hotel was lovely, I believe we had the best room 107, 8 steps from the pool, the staff well they were all amazing, welcoming, friendly, funny, that's you Mary behind the bar, we'll miss you .... Andela and all the reception staff couldn't be more helpful. Clean, food amazing, such a small hotel is far better than a big hotel for sure. We always go all inclusive normally but never again to Greece as the food well... just great, happy friends great bar with swimming. Wouldn't have changed a thing. Thank you Pefkos you were a blast !!!! O, PS definitely hire a boat yourself and go to Lindos , beautiful, best picnic you'll ever have in the middle of the Ocean.

I stayed here at the end of August and have mixed feelings on our stay. I’d come here expecting a lot of friendly staff and a family feel. I just don’t get that. There was a younger lady on reception who was pleasant and the cleaner, Lina was such a lovely lady. Other than that I didn’t find any of the other staff particularly friendly. There was a lady on the bar most afternoons who seemed friendly to some guests but had a face of thunder most of the time. I took a glass back over to her one day as it was dirty and she was really rude to me, rather than just simply giving me another glass. The waiters weren’t particularly friendly either. We arrived in the middle of the night and when I got up to have a shower the next morning, I noticed the shower head was lying in the bath. I went to connect it up so I could shower and it didn’t fit in the holder. In fairness, I called reception and they got maintenance to come and fix it straight away which was fine but not the kind of thing I would have expected in the first place. The only other gripe I had was the ants. They were everywhere! In beds, up the walls, even in the kitchen cupboards. Not ideal if you’re half board and wanting to make food there. You couldn’t have left any food around at all, even in the cupboards. We usually take snacks for our children but had to just keep buying things out as we couldn’t store anything. One of my children left a lolly on the side (high up) and when we returned to the room an hour later, it was swarming with ants. We did get through a few days before asking if we could be moved to a different room as we were in a ground floor room with a small garden outside and we weren’t sure if we were just particularly unlucky with that room. When we asked if we could move, we were told we couldn’t but it wouldn’t matter anyway as there would be ants on upper floors too. Again, not something I’d have expected to come across. They did send someone to spray the room but that didn’t help so we just carried on. There were some good points too. The lunch and dinners were good. Really big portions and the food was really tasty. The breakfast was standard buffet stuff and was ok but I didn’t really understand the logic of doing pancakes every other day, rather than every day. Especially when children love them and they’re always all gone when they’re put out. Location-wise, it is a little out of Pefkos, probably a 15-20 minute walk. Some of it was a little hilly so sometimes we’d use a taxi as it was so hot at that time of year. Taxis to and from Pefkos are €6-€8 so not too bad. There is a little beach just under 10 minutes away and we actually preferred this to the main beach in Pefkos. The snorkelling was brilliant (take a bit of bread for the fish and it’s like an aquarium!). We visited Taverna Nikolas on the last night as we’d seen it recommended and it did not disappoint! It’s only a 5 minute walk from the hotel, definitely worth a look. The pool area was good. T

We’ve just returned from our third visit in consecutive years and are looking forward to our fourth visit next year and now expect to carry on our annual pilgrimage every year beyond that. Please refer to my previous reviews for a more detailed précis of PVR but suffice to say that Vasilis, Andela, Costas and the rest of the team will make you feel supremely welcome. We can’t wait to see them again next year. If you are looking for a place with loud music and partying, look elsewhere. If you are looking for somewhere to relax and unwind, PVR is the place for you.

From the moment we arrived to the end of our holiday, the owner and staff at PVR could not be more friendly and helpful. They are truly a credit to this hotel, great customer service 👏 Our room (123) has recently been renovated and it was beautiful 😍 very stylish. Special mention to our cleaner, she made sure our room was cleaned every day and supplied clean towels. We went BB...the breakfast was hot, plentiful and a good selection 👌 they have a freshly squeezed orange 🍊 machine, very refreshing 😋 Yes the hotel is further away from the mainstrip but we knew that before booking, we booked after reading the trip advisor reviews and glad we did. This side of town is so peaceful and reception will book you a taxi if needed. Overall, we have had a great time at PVR, thank you for your hospitality and I would definitely recommend to stay at this hotel.

This was our first visit to Pefkos Village Resort and Rhodes. Even though we arrived at 1.30am. They had a member of staff who was both friendly in explaining various details of the hotel and helping with the luggage. The next day we visited reception and was greeted by Andela, who provided us with lots of information regarding both the hotel and Rhodes regards taxis buses etc. The staff who help out at the buffet breakfast and behind the bar were all friendly and helpful. We stayed 14 nights B&B and all 10 of us stated how good a resort it was with a good choice of food for breakfast, the 2 rooms we had booked, the pool and also with the various snacks and drinks we purchased whilst there. They do have a mini market on site for the essentials, water, milk etc. The walk to the local Tavernas and supermarkets in the main town can take approx 15 to 20 minutes, slightly uphill We stayed here in August during 38/40ºC, and the air-con was a blessing, especially at night. Thus next time we plan to visit either earlier or later in the season.
