Hippocampus Hotel

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff was incredibly welcoming and helpful from the moment I arrived. My room was spotless, comfortable, and well-equipped. I highly recommend this hotel!

Totally refurbished rooms with great facilities. Exceptionally comfortable beds and pillows. Air con was fabulous. Bathroom was lovely great powerful shower. Greeted by owner and shown to rooms despite our late arrival. George the manager was so helpful and assisted us with trips and was always on hand. The staff are a credit especially Michalea the breakfast host. Always cheerful and pleased to help. Location is good for local buses although some may find this a little noisy as on a main road. It didn't bother us. The breakfast was simple but fresh and plentiful with fruit and vegetables available everyday. Something for everyone. A lovely stay and Greek hospitality at its best.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! It looks and feels newly renovated—simple, stylish, and equipped with everything you need. Upon arrival, we were welcomed with a thoughtful gift package including Prosecco, local honey, and traditional locals sweets. A lovely touch! The rooms were spotless and even came with a Nespresso coffee machine, which was a nice bonus. Air conditioning is available for an extra charge of €7 per night, which is good to know in advance. The staff were incredibly friendly and always willing to help with anything we needed. One of the great features of the hotel is the range of trips you can book directly through them. We went on excursions to Symi Island and Lindos town—both were fantastic and highly recommended! There's also a bus stop very close to the hotel, making it easy to reach Rhodes Old Town. The on-site restaurant was fabulous. The food was delicious, the cocktails were even better, and the atmosphere was perfect for relaxing. The staff were happy to share their personal recommendations, which added a warm, personal touch to our experience. There are also plenty of restaurants within walking distance, offering a great variety of options for dining out nearby. Overall, this hotel is a great place to unwind and enjoy everything the area has to offer. Highly recommended!

This hotel goes above and beyond the expectation of its star rating. What takes it to the next level is the service that comes from attentive staff that make you feel like you’re time matters most. A special mention goes to Christina firstly, who not only provided advice and tips for our trip, but made us feel like we were talking to an old friend and took her time to help with planning and making the most of our time here. Manos was top for bespoke cocktails, and both him and Nikos were super talented and a credit to the industry and skill they’ve clearly worked hard to make so effortless. A special mention also for the people that keep everything tidy and in order, nothing was ever too much and no request too small, their help was always so appreciated. The team here helped make this experience, and the rest of the trip had us booking a return before we’d even caught flights home. If you’re questioning where to book, this is the place - central, friendly and knowledge to help shape your trip. Thanks to all the team and we can’t wait to return.

Just leaving after one of our best 7 day breaks. Hotel is delightful and totally refurbished. All the staff are so welcoming and couldn't be more helpful, esp Machaela at breakfast and Vangelis and Christina at dinner. Try one of Emmanuel's cocktails. The boutique hotel is ideal for couples wishing to explore the island. Bus stops to Rhodes Old Town and airport a few metres away. George, the manager there to assist at all times. Now refreshed.
