Rhodian Sun Hotel

So...let's write the most realistic review about this hotel....Hotel itself out of date but in a nice way. Had lovely charm. We liked it. Rooms are cleaned regularly. What we didn't like. Shower size. It is half size of normal shower tray. Like a big sink. So when you have shower you can't close shower curtains as they stick to your body. So the only way to have shower is with not closed curtains and clean floor afterwards what was not a big deal. But you really don't want to be a cleaner during the holiday. Wi fi-zero. No wi fi in our room. And eventually -food. Everyone praised it. Don't understand why. Such impression that people who liked food in this hotel never tried real, nice and the best food in the world outside hotel. Expectations were ruined. Food very fatty. First evening we had a stake which was served with 4 pieces chips. Yes,yes. Only 4 tired,fatty chips. I counted in the town how many I had in my plate. 21 ...yes ...nice yellow crusty 21 chips. Not the 4 ones. On other dinners all meals we soaked in fat. So our stomach was burning during the night. Salads cheap miserable and completely nothing to do with lovely tasty Greek cuisine. Luckily we tried proper Greek food before coming to this place otherwise after trying ,Greek meals in this hotel,we had to hate Greek food. So...if you really want nice Greek food than definitely not in this hotel. What do you really get,what you pay off...

I stayed in this hotel 2 weeks, the last of August and the first of September 2024, together with my husband and my child. The atmosfere was perfectly comfortable for us, we had a double room with half board. The owner Stavros is very friendy, he helped us a lot, suggesting places to visit and coming to our table almost every day to chat a bit. Also Irini was very nice with us and with our kid, always smiling and being very gentle. The atmosphere of the Hotel is fantastic, the room was clean and our towels have been changed every day, ever if we did not leave them on the floor. The food was delicious, with fresh meals every day and drinks included with the dinner. The place is very closed to the airport which is a positive point, but you need a car if you want to experience the whole Island. 10 our of 10 for this Holiday at Rodhian Sun Hotel. Had an amazing 8 days at Rhodian Sun. The pool was so peaceful the food was delicious ( but far too much)All areas were spotlessly clean. Stavros, Nico, George, Irena and the team can't do enough for you and you're made to feel like family. I do hope to return one day. Hamas x
