The Ixian Grand & All Suites

What can I say about this hotel other than - wow. This was mine and my boyfriends first holiday together (28 & 32) so of course we was super excited about it and I am so glad this was the hotel we ended to choosing for it. Having only ever stayed in villas and apartment I was interested to see what an all inclusive had to offer, and I am so glad the Ixian Grand delivered on all areas. From start to finish the whole service was 10/10. We arrived at 11pm and had a few others in front to check in, we immediately was entitled to all inclusive so made the most of taking the hotel in. We was kindly upgraded to a sea view room with a bath overlooking the breath taking view of the hotel grounds and the gorgeous sea! The hotel is calming and relaxed with a mixture of all ages. No rushing to secure sun beds. Entertainment during the day and at night. If you're lucky enough to be there when the Il Divo tribute are there - go and see them!! There is a private Beach with your own little pier which is fantastic - we was in the sea so much more then the pool!! Be warned it's rather rocky!! But still lovely. Staff are incredible and super friendly, you can really tell they want to make your experience enjoyable. I could go on and on about how great our time was here. They've really set the bar for all holidays to come now! And we are more than likely going to be back again!

The resort is absolutely beautiful. I had booked a suite with the private pool which I enjoyed to the fullest on my solo trip. The entire team is very friendly and welcoming. Fool And drinks are served all throughout the day if you ever get thirsty or hungry. But trust me you possibly can't, there was too much food and drinks for anyone to be in need of anything. The suites were absolutely spotless and cleaned with drinks refilled daily. I visited the spa for a full massage which I haven't in a few years and was looked after by Katherine. She was perfect so gently but also followed my request on different pressure points which was amazing. Definitely request for her you won't be disappointed. My all solo break was the best I had in this beautiful resort , the weather,the beach , beautiful ground surrounding all over in peace, with too much food but Hey . Will do it again and again !!!

Review of the spa - the aegeo spa was lovely. We visited in the morning for a full body massage. On arrival the spa smelt lovely, there was spa music playing and we were greeted by friendly staff. The staff welcomed us to our appointment and were very professional and friendly. My masseuse was the lovely Panagiota who made me feel so relaxed and rejuvenated after my massage and body scrub. She checked i was comfortable throughout the treatment. After the massage we relaxed by the spa pool where she advised us on the products that were used on us during our treatment. The scrub smelt lovely so i purchased this along with the body cream mask. Id definitely return

My trip to the spa on site was very relaxing and tranquil. My Summer Meadows massage with Christiana was very much needed and she recommended another treatment for me if I was interested. I would recommend a trip to the spa, as it is a different but just as beautiful an experience as being out in the sun ☀️

This was my first time at an all-inclusive resort and it was a positive one. My room was on the 2nd floor overlooking the suite pools, with partial sea view. It was very comfortable with all the necessary amenities, including a coffee machine with capsules that were refilled daily. The pillows were a bit too stiff/hard fo me. I also noticed there is no soundproofing but the resort is mostly quiet. The food at the buffet restaurant was very good, I especially enjoyed the traditional Greek dishes as well as the pizza. Asian night wasn't great, and the a la carte restaurant wasn't that much better than the buffet. Staff is polite and helpful. The pool/beach area is nice, there were enough sunbeds available. The spa offers a warm pool, a steam room and different treatments. I had a massage booked with Katherine, I enjoyed it so much that I booked another one and a facial treatment also with her, I was very satisfied with the result. The airport transfer is a very nice bonus, as well as the slightly late checkout. Keep in mind this is a beach resort in Greece, 5* here are not the same as 5* in London (nor does it cost the same).

The Ixian Grand and All Suites Review Honest review! We stayed at the Ixian Grand for 7 nights in a grand suite with a private pool. We honestly cannot say enough nice things about this hotel! We stayed in room 424 and got sun in the pool and on the patio from 7am until around 6pm which was fantastic. The room was spotless and cleaned every day. The food here is lovely, yes we had unlimited access to all of the a la carte restaurants but we used the buffet several times and there was plenty of choice and some really nice food. Milonges and Muza Htista were lovely, we tried most things on the menu over our week and we enjoyed everything. But we have to say Alzonia was our absolute fave!! Every meal was stunning and very generous size portions. The staff can’t do enough to help you and are more than happy to make alterations to the menu to suit your needs. The AI drinks are nice, it’s not the best menu I have seen on AI holidays but there were plenty if options and very strong lol if you like cold coffee I defo recommend the Greek Frappe. All of the staff at this resort are amazing and cannot do enough to make your stay magical, there is some form of entertainment most nights and sometimes at lunchtime around the pool. Overall this was a fantastic holiday and we cannot recommend the Ixian grand enough! I highly recommend a visit to the old town and the acropolis of Rhodes if you are venturing out, and mama Sofia’s bar and restaurant in the old town is delicious and very reasonably priced, we went twice!! If you are looking to pop to a local bar, Phillips bar is very cheep and the fans make the outside seating area lovely and cool. There is also a SPA supermarket about a 3 minute walk away and sells everything you could possibly need. Overall we had an amazing stay and will defo be back!

We decided to return here after spending a week here last July. This time we booked directly with the hotel and arranged the flights ourselves. We were collected at the airport by the hotel (this is included if you book direct including a return trip back to the airport) and arrived at the hotel. We had booked a grand suite with a private pool, the same as last year. We were told on checking in that the hotel had upgraded us to the beachfront grand suite with private rooftop pool, obviously we were delighted especially as this had been done free of charge. The suite was very spacious, not too dissimilar to the previous suite we had last year. This time we had a jacuzzi bath and separate shower cubicle. It was lovely having our rooftop pool as there was a breeze up there which we needed as it was so hot. Not much appeared to have changed from last year although we did feel that the service in Milonges was not as good this time and every time private diners came for lunch they took priority and we were left. This was a shame as we have had some lovely meals at Milonges. There were a couple of lovely members of staff there last year but they sadly don’t appear to be there this year. This year we felt that the best service and food was in Alazonia. The staff were all lovely and attentive and could not do enough for us, especially Eleni, Spiros, Christina, Zsis, Nikitas, Nikolas and Georgis (we apologise if we have left anyone’s name off this list. The breakfasts in here were excellent, we also chose to dine here in the evenings too and this did not disappoint. We ate a couple of times at Muza Htista and the food here was of a very high standard. The only thing that lets this hotel down is to e pre-made cocktails which we really didn’t enjoy, but we just changed what we drank. It’s not a huge issue but just feel that this could be improved. We also had a bit of an issue with the turn down service and had to go and complain on 3 occasions. But as soon as we did complain to reception this was rectified straight away. We had a lovely relaxed 8 days and would not hesitate to return.

We stayed here last week and had a really nice stay. The reception staff are really friendly and helpful with booking taxis whenever we needed one. We loved the beach and the quiet pool, but often found it hard to get a bed at the quiet pool, there is always beds available at the beach though. The room was perfect, recently renovated and clean, and had a balcony. The restaurants were lovely. The only thing was we found the food to be quite repetitive after a few days, it would be better to have more new food available every day to make it more varied. We fed the stray cats that live on the main road when you turn left out the hotel, if you stay in the Ixian please visit and feed them if you get the chance to! ＜3

Best place I have stayed. All the staff are so friendly and welcoming. Cleaners do a great job, always on the go. Rooms are lovely. Wish I could have taken the bed home view is amazing. Beach right outside. Great night entertainment. Good choice of food to choose from.
