Lindos Princess Beach Hotel

This hotel had everything we needed for a fantastic week away during half term. The room was perfectly situated for us, near to the beach pool bar and slides, exactly where the kids wanted to be. They loved the ice creams, pizzas, and gyros available every day. The food was decent, always something for everyone. The family room was a good size for us, two adults, two teenagers and a child, cleaned daily and well looked after, mini bar stocked every other day. Would definitely recommend.

Such an amazing hotel. We went at the end of October and the weather was still gorgeous and sunny. Pools cold as expected from non heated pools but still able to swim and have fun in them. Great selection of water slides for my kids aged 8, 6 and 4. Beach lovely and so nice to be so close to the hotel. The sea was lovely and warm, quite rocky but we managed fine without shoes. Didn’t use the kids club but could tell it was good if you want that. Entertainment was great every night for adults and kids alike. Kids enjoyed playing mini golf and the giant chess. Very impressed with the food, so tasty with lots of traditional Greek dishes. Wine was pretty awful (as expected) but cocktails and beers very nice. Kids so happy to be able to go and get ice creams and pizza throughout the day. Hotel staff so kind and they all did an amazing job at keeping everything so clean. Reception staff helped us to book a taxi into Lindos to visit the acropolis which is well worth a visit. All in all we had a brilliant time and would 100% recommend to anyone wanting a relaxing and fun family holiday.

We had a good time here although we had actually booked the hotel next door, the Costa Lindia, they overbooked and subsequently booked us into the Lindos Princess without telling us. Bit of a strange one, but that’s another story for their Tripadvisor page. We believe because of this we didn’t have a great room. It was on the second floor and one with quite a small balcony in comparison to the other rooms. Overall we did have a great experience and made some brilliant memories. The cleanliness is very good and the cleaning staff are all very friendly and accommodating. They love babies! The layout of the hotel is great and very aesthetically pleasing. It has a beachfront location and is only 15 minutes away from Lindos town. The taxis are about €18. The waiting staff in the restaurant work tirelessly, they really just do not stop and I don’t know how they do it. We had one particular waiter that was exceptional, his name was Oleksandr and he is Ukrainian, he was possibly the friendliest person that we met throughout the whole trip. His service was the best that we’ve ever received both at home and throughout all of our other travels. I really hope that he and the other waiting staff are well looked after. As I say, this hotel is great, but there are some bits that could be improved to make it brilliant: - The sunbeds are really close together and on a couple of occasions we had to move because other couples next to us, who also have children were smoking in around their children as well as our six month old baby. No staff ever asked anyone to stop smoking even though there are designated areas. - The rooms need more plug sockets and to be updated overall they do seem quite outdated. The decor and bathrooms are quite old and the pillows need to be changed. There is no tea or coffee equipment in the room. -During the peak seasons, it’s really tricky to get a bed by the pool and it’s one of those hotels that you have to get up really early and put your towel on the bed. This is not ideal when you have small children. - The evening entertainment needs a revamp. - The entertainment groups were great but the tannoy system is frustrating when you have sleeping children, we couldn’t seem to get far enough away. - The food is very salty. - Some parents let their children run wild whilst they read or slept. I understand they are on holiday but sometimes it felt quite unsafe. - The staff at the beach bar were not very friendly. I would stay here again as long as they were stricter with their no smoking policy and the rooms had a bit of an update :)

From the moment our coach arrived at the Lindos Princess Beach Hotel and spa, we were extremely impressed. The entrance atrium has a magnificent dome in front of reception, ordained with beautiful scenes of Greek gods/goddesses. The gardens are beautiful and very well maintained. The fountains are stunning and provide a beautiful atmosphere at night when they are lit up. The pools are spotless (chlorine water). The whole location is kept spotless. We stayed in a Superior family room beach front, which had a sliding partician between room sections. It was spotless and provided everything we required. Ideal location. The food is tasty, with plenty of options available to cater to most requirements. The staff are extremely helpful and courteous. (Except for a few, who I will mention later). The majority of employees are only too happy to make you welcome and help any way they can. The entertainment team is brilliant and provides a mixture of activities for all the family. A few minor things: There were a few staff at the Aegean pool bar who were rude, and one even tutted and rolled his eyes when we asked for drinks. These were the only staff we had trouble with, and it put us off going back to this bar. There are not enough outlets in the rooms, but we had adaptors, so we worked it out. Overall, though, we had a lovely stay, and we would gladly return. Thank you.

Perfect holiday with children. Amazing animators, nice big spaces, nice reception, awesome food, lots of greenery and trees. And of course a lot of possibilities for sports activities. The beach is sandy, but there are pebbles, small stones at the entrance to the sea. It suited us and the kids had a great time. Thank you Lindos Princes Family Ocenas

The hotel staff are friendly and welcoming and work exceptional hard. We had a great holiday. I would agree with guests other comments about the main restaurant being very busy, too busy in my opinion. We preferred to eat at the beach restaurant. The choice of food was good and overall enjoyed a good selection of the food on offer. I would also agree with the comments about the rooms needing updating. We had a two bedroom family suite and the bed, mattresses and pillows all need replacing. We had two single beds pushed together as double. The cleaners came in every day and cleaned. The rooms and bathroom for us didn’t meet a 4* star standard. The Animation team, including those in the kids club were amazing. They all worked very hard to keep the children and adults entertained.
