Hotel Garni Oberrhein

Words can’t really describe the sheer joy of arriving at this hotel. After three nights of awful sleep in trains and hostels, we decided to book a somewhat nicer hotel to recover. When we arrived we were met by the extreamly friendly owner who essentially told us «welcome, feel like home, i can see that you’re tired, grab a beer from the minibar on me!». The ensuing beer felt a lot like drops from the fountain of youth as it rejuvinated us from our desert wandering through low quality hostels in Europe. The rooms were very clean, and the barhrooms were brand new :)). Later we wanted to clean out clothes as they smelled like we’d been backpacking for a week, and i sent him a message through ***********. The owner then called up to our room, and told us that his wife could clean our clothes. A couple minutes later he gave us a Louis-vuitton bag which we filled with dirty clothes and left outside our room. The next morning they arrived clean and folded in a big basket. The breakfast was amazing with delicious bread and a wide varity of meats, chesses, and juices. Thank you very much for a lovely stay :))

hatte mich so auf das Hotel gefreut, aber am Tag zuvor einen schweren Unfall. Direktion hatte null Verständniss das ich stornieren musste & verlangte den vollen Betrag. Bei so wenig Menschlichkeit werde ich sicher auch in Zukunft nie Gast dort sein.

Freundlicher Empfang mit kühlem Getränk und kleinem Vesper, guter Service, zentrale Lage und gute Zimmer, alles bestens. Fahradfahrer dürfen sich beim Frühstück ein Brötchen für den Tag mitnehmen. Insgesamt sehr empfehlenswertes Hotel.

Sehr herzlichen Empfang von Frau Häusermann als wir auf unsere Wanderroute via Rhenana müde im Hotel eingetroffen sind. Das Hotel sehr zentral und in wenigen Minuten erreichbar. Zimmer alles vorhanden was man braucht sehr sauber! Das Frühstücksbuffet einfach wunderbar alles was das Herz begehrt. Vielen Dank an dieser Stelle. Sehr zu empfehlen, kommen gerne wieder.
