When I gave the reason why we were unable to stay on the original dates I expected a reasoned response. The latter was not received simply stating that cancellation was effected. The hotel in question knows full well that this time is high season and can easily let the same room be occupied by another party effectively recovering at least 75% of their expected cost if not the full cost. Thus I would expect a minimum refund of 82.5% from the hotel and Trip.Com .

Clean room and on site parking Poor beak fast selection; very limited Location is far from city; I had hired a car so that wasn’t bad. But it’s not walking distance to city Staff unwelcoming. Cleaner helped check me in. Passcode wouldn’t work Small double room. Heating was on full; we slept with the fan on.

This hotel is a decent place to stay when touring Reykjavik. The rooms are clean and quiet, with comfortable beds. Parking is free (on the local streets) and breakfast is included. But nothing fancy here -- the rooms are quite small and undecorated, with little space for storage or moving around. The hotel is located in a quiet neighborhood, not too far from the harbor and sites. It's a good base for tourists who are just looking for a place to sleep before heading back out to visit the city.

Pros: nice breakfast, comfortable bathroom, quiet location with easy access to downtown, the bed was actually quite comfortable. Cons: hardly any staff, very poor communication, almost no storage or space for stuff/luggage (definitely not for longer stays). The room was quite basic, there wasn't even a bin - only a tiny one in the bathroom. I wouldn't stay again.

Nice rooms, clean and comfortable beds. Everything simple but functional. Free parking if front of the hotel. Close to the city center and touristic activities such as Blue Lagoon and Whale Watching tours.

Nice modern hotel for youngsters and travellers. Simple but sufficient breakfast. Sloppy coffee. Nice rooms, specially the more expensive once with terrace in the basement. Really. First they gave us room #203 and alike but first night we did not sleep because of 30C with open small window and blower. Not good at all. They know it is a construction error next to the heating pipes. Watch out!! Location of hotel is okay. Buses are a walk though. Some fast food restaurants near by. And a proper supermarket

Iceland is not a cheap place to visit and the Nordurey Hotel was well priced compared to most other places and offered everything we could reasonably expect for the price. The rooms were clean and comfy, the breakfast tasty and plentiful. We barely saw a staff member as we were sent our access code to get in before we arrived and it all worked seamlessly. It is a little bit of a walk to get to the centre of Reykjavik (~2.5km) but we enjoy a good stroll. The convenience of having parking right outside, or on an adjacent street, was very nice.

Hôtel très calme. Chambre un peu petite mais très propre literie confortable, SDB très bien également. Petit bémol, ascenseur en panne et peu de choses pour se restaurer autour sans avoir à reprendre la voiture...

Se é o tipo de pessoa que gosta de um atendimento cuidado e personalizado nos hotéis, este hotel não é para si. Chegámos de madrugada ao hotel e estava fechado, sem ninguém na receção. Tivemos de telefonar onde nos indicaram os códigos que nos permitiram entrar no edifício e nos quartos. O pequeno-almoço é simples, mas cumpre com o essencial. O funcionário do pequeno-almoço esteve sempre na cozinha e mal foi avistado durante as nossas refeições. Pelo que percebemos o hotel só tem staff no período da manhã, para fazer os chek-out e a limpeza dos quartos. De todas as vezes que entramos e saímos para jantar nunca esteve ninguém na receção. Apesar disso, o staff da receção foi eficiente. Os quartos e a casa de banho são pequenos, mas confortáveis e limpos. Apesar de estar junto a uma estrada, não era ruidoso.

L'hôtel est à 2,5 km du centre ville. L'accès se fait par check-in automatique donc on ne voit pas grand monde. La chambre est petite, pas beaucoup de place pour bouger. Le petit déjeuner est quelconque avec peu de choix. Par contre c'est très propre. On peut garer le véhicule devant l'hôtel.

Im Vorfeld per Mail den Zugang fürs Hotel und Zimmer erhalten. Alles war recht modern und ansprechend. Hotel nicht gerade preiswert, für eine Nacht aber in Ordnung. Parkplätze leider nur wenig vorhanden. Frühstück ist in Ordnung, nur leider spricht das Frühstückspersonal nicht. Unser Aufenthalt verlief somit ohne Kontakt mit dem Personal, welches nur zeitweise anwesend ist.

Camera piccola in stile moderno. Diverse Prese usb in camera e numerose prese per la corrente. l’hotel si trova in zona tranquilla. Hotel pulito e silenzioso. Abbiamo ricevuto qualche giorno prima dell’arrivo, il codice di accesso alla struttura. Colazione minimal ma essenziale.

Non sono molto convinta del soggiorno in questa struttura. La camera era discreta: carino il bagno, molto più anonima la zona notte. Il centro non è vicinissimo: a piedi ci si mette circa mezz’ora. Vero punto debole, per noi, è stata la colazione: un po’ misera e cibi caldi assenti. Non so se fosse dovuto al fatto che ci siamo presentati alle 9.00 nella sala colazione, quindi un’ora prima della chiusura del buffet, ma onestamente questa è la prima volta che mi capita di imbattermi in un’offerta così poco ricca. Erano rimaste solo un paio di torte e alcuni affettati (dall’aspetto non dei migliori) e formaggi, e un po’ di melone tagliato male in un piatto. Lo yogurt, così come il latte, erano contenuti in appositi cartoni semi vuoti abbandonati a loro stessi. Da un hotel ci aspettavamo di più, soprattutto per il prezzo pagato (180 euro in due per una notte). Il personale con cui ci siamo interfacciati per caso (il check-in si fa autonomamente) è sempre stato cordiale, ma quando tornerò a Reykjavik penso sceglierò un’altra sistemazione.
