Sehr gute Atmosphäre und sehr gemütlich. Der Zugang zur Küche etwas niedrig. Man muss auf seinen Kopf aufpassen. Insgesamt sehr zu empfehlen. Preis Leistung super.

Terrific location in the pedestrian-centric old town, quiet room, comfortable bed, excellent amenities, attractive room, and extra-helpful staff. (We hit a cold spell on the day of a planned trip into the mountains, and were able to borrow a warm vest for my wife.) We stayed three nights and really enjoyed having this as our home base. There are only nine rooms, so book early. Note: Breakfast isn't served until the season begins, in April. That was a disappointment. That said, being on Crete in the off-season is a pleasure.

I have been fortunate to stay in some beautiful hotels, but I have to say that Casa dei Delfini is up there with the best. Located in a fantastic spot in the heart of the Old Town, this wonderful building has been sympathetically renovated and restored into a stunning hotel that provides all the modern conveniences without compromising the beauty of the original historic building. It is stunning. Katerina and Kon, the two charming hosts, are on hand to help with any enquiries and they take the comfort and happiness of their guests very seriously. They even happily put up with my dreadful Greek, although they both speak excellent English! A lovely Cretan style breakfast is provided. I will be back! Highly recommended.

This beautiful characterful building is in the heart of the old town which is entirely pedestrianised. As a result the four of us (in two separate rental cars) all struggled to find parking outside of the pedestrian-only zone. So we were all a bit stressed by the time we finally found parking spots then trundled our bags from the cars to the hotel. But it was well worth the effort. Our rooms were gorgeous, breakfasts were a delight, and Kon & Katerina lovely hosts. Although located in the heart of the old town it is still quiet at night but only a short walk to all Rethymnon has to offer. It is a lovely city and should not be missed and Casa dei Delfini is the icing on the cake (or more appropriately the honey on the baklava!).

The room was simply amazing! The building itself is of unique venetian architecture, in the heart of the old town. The location is perfect to explore the old town of Rethymnon and close to bars, taverns, restaurants, local shops etc. We opted for the breakfast option and we highly recommend it. Overall, we had an amazing time there, the owners are really friendly, kind and helpfull.

Where to start…. 1. Internet-Kept knocking us off, we work online 2. No hot water 2nd morning had to call since there is no one at the one little desk most of the time so if you are going to go then you better get their cell number 3. No security at night; I did not see where the listing said one must use a key to get in after say 8pm, and there is no attendant anywhere until after 8:30am 4. Ran out of toilet paper last day, no one around to replenish. Had to hold it in… 5. Room not cleaned (bathroom floor had same dirt for 4 days) but towels were replaced, garbage taken out and beds made 6. Coffee maker didn’t function first day -they say you can get breakfast but we never saw from where no did we see anyone eating or drinking coffee 7. When we arrived, the safe was locked (not shown around when we were introduced to the room). When we tried to open, it set off a continuous beeping. Since Nono e was at the front desk, fortunately we had a cell number; issue was rectified in terms of stopping the beeping, but we could not use the safe until the next day So, not one of best experiences. The woman was very sweet, however the young man was not very empathetic
