Grecotel Creta Palace

Our stay at Grecotel Creta Palace was once again truly wonderful. Each time we return, we appreciate even more the unique charm of this hotel and the unforgettable experiences it creates. We would like to express our heartfelt thanks to all the staff who make the daily holiday experience so special. Special gratitude goes to the housekeeping team – especially Alida – for their care and attention. A big thank you also to Despina from the Beach Restaurant, who provided excellent service with kindness and a smile. We are equally grateful to the gardeners, who keep the hotel grounds beautifully maintained, and to the beach staff, who work every day to ensure the beach remains perfectly clean and inviting. We would also like to sincerely thank the entire restaurant team for their warm service and hospitality – thanks to them we truly felt at home. Thank you also to whole reception and guest relation team. This time we stayed in two beautiful rooms: the Bungalow Suite Beach Front with Private Pool (No. 917) and the Panorama Sea View Junior Suite (No. 415). Both were excellent choices that made our holiday even more special. What makes Grecotel Creta Palace outstanding are the small details – those little touches that, day after day, add up to a truly perfect holiday. We are deeply thankful for the fantastic time we spent here and the warm, professional service we received. We wholeheartedly recommend this hotel, even to the biggest skeptics – it is simply exceptional. Grecotel Creta Palace is the essence of Greek hospitality, warmth, excellent cuisine, outstanding service, beautifully maintained rooms – and the everyday “Kalimera” always accompanied by a smile.

Wonderful place. Nice beach, good food, nice rooms, accurate environment and polite personnel. Nothing could be expect more. Definitely return again.

We just had a wonderful last minute stay here as a family.The hotel and our maisonette was beautiful and clean. Breakfast was delicious! Rivalled Gleneagles. Staff were so friendly. and couldnt do more to make you feel truly at home.The kids club was amazing again the staff and facilities exemplary! Well done.👏 We were breakfast only and caught taxis along to Rethymino village to forte and explore the old town and its many amazing restaurants and thoroughly enjoyed the taverna closest to the hotel. The evening up to Agreco farm with dinner was a highlight and true Mama mia dream for the kids with tour of the farm and animals and food 5* with panoramic views! The spa back massage was on special offer and was truly amazing! Thank you Grecotel team for an amazing holiday 😊

Enjoyed every minute of our stay at the Creta Palace. Beautiful grounds in an excellent location. What really makes this place special are the professional and courteous staff which make for an effortless stay. The food is fantastic (especially the focaccia) and if you’re a boozer you’ll not be disappointed either. Penelope’s cocktails are the best we’ve had in an all inclusive hotel. All in all a great place to relax. Recommended.

I feel compelled to say something special about my experience at Creta Palace. Having travelled the world staying in 5* hotels for most of my life, I have never experienced such warmth and care I received from the staff at this hotel, especially the team who look after all the guests in the restaurant at meal times. It actually brought me very close to tears at one point - it was so touching. I particularly want to call out to Cecilia, who was wonderful in every way; Evelyn, who was so compassionate & caring when I was in great pain; Nicos, who was just great, and George who helped carry my food back to the table from the buffet. Also, Nasia as one of the guest relations personnel with her enchanting eyes and naturally charming smile effortlessly defused any minor concerns we may have had. I arrived on a much needed holiday (with my wife) with some pre-existing health conditions as well as my long-time food allergies of peanuts, gluten and lactose. Cecilia particularly went out of her way to discuss with the chef what I could have and it altogether went very well and my Epi-Pen returned home unused. It was so encouraging to hear that the staff genuinely desired feedback so that they can improve their service offering. So in the spirit of giving some constructive advice I would suggest that for dessert you maybe consider baking some gluten free cakes like Greek honey and lemon (or orange) cake; GF almond biscuits; Meringue nests with fresh berries and/or Loukoumi. There is actually a lot to choose from (rather than just fruit or ice cream). I look forward next time ! Regarding the accommodation, our only niggle was that we would have liked the room to be a bit bigger and the bathroom was a little small. Nasia said there was nothing else available so we believed her and didn't put up a fuss. In summary: AMAZING STAFF; Good Food & Lovely Location. Sincerely Yours, Paul & Janet

Everything in this hotel in 10/10! Starting from a warm welcoming, impeccable cleanliness, to excellent food. This is truly one of the best hotels that I've been to. It's worth every euro that you pay to be here. Staff, services, beach, pool, bars, SPA area and even shops are just wonderfull. Hope to get back there again someday. ❤️
