Very friendly super efficient staff members who all go out of their way to make your stay enjoyable. All speak very good English. The room was very clean and has a fantastic view of the Rhine. The restaurant food was delicious especially the chicken breast wrapped in bacon. The breakfast was very good too. Well worth a visit.

This was my third visit in three years. First alone, then with my beautiful young wife, and this month with both the aforementioned young bride and our adult daughter. The location is wonderful overlooking the fabulous Rhine River and it's traffic as well as the forested hills above Linz am Rhein on the opposite bank. It is close to the frequent and cheap cross-river ferry thus making Linz easily accessible. It has free car, motorcycle and bicycle (secure) parking. The new wing features a passenger lift right to the Parking level. What has not changed is the friendly, efficient, service and the superb food at both breakfast and dinner. I look forward to my fourth visit!

This was my second visit here and this trip my beautiful young wife was with me. We had a great stay. Staff are welcoming and helpful. There is on-site parking. We enjoyed a superb river view from our room as well as from the breakfast/dining area. We loved the breakfasts and dinners. The hotel is located very close (200m) to the Rhine Ferry which is cheap and frequent allowing easy access to the picturesque town of Linz on the opposite bank. Linz railway station is close to the ferry making for a cheap, frequent and scenic way to visit Cologne/Köln. I thoroughly recommend this hotel.

I stayed for only one night as part of a European road trip. My welcome at reception was efficient and friendly. My room was clean, comfortable and well equipped. I did not have a river view but was not concerned, my room is for sleeping and washing! The restaurant covers an indoor section and two terraces, all with river views. I had dinner there with a few relaxed beers (after a busy day!). The restaurant staff were friendly, courteous, efficient and helpful; they are a credit to the business. Breakfast was a buffet offering which was extensive and well presented. I would have no hesitation in recommending both the hotel and restaurant to anyone; it has location, facilities, and, most importantly, great staff.

The hotel is located along the river Rhine with stunning views, in walking distance (around 100 meters) from the ferry to Linz. The rooms are pretty basic, the bathroom is very good. Very friendly staff. The best is the breakfast at the terrace.

A really lovely hotel. We paid for the upgrade to get a balcony and bigger room so this review is partly based on the fact we had a spacious room. Bathroom was well equipped. Hotel was clean and staff friendly. Parking available. The evening meal was excellent and we knew breakfast wouldn't disappoint us.

If you are looking for a hotel to explore the area, have a sleep, breakfast and dinner, then this is a good choice. The people are helpful and speak English very well. The room is nice with airconditioning, smart-tv a modern bathroom and a great view over the Rhine.

Gutes Hotel direkt am Rhein. Zimmer mit Rheinblick war sauber und ordentlich. das Bad allerdings recht eng und klein (z.B. kaum Ablagemöglichkeiten). Das Frühstück war reichhaltig und lecker, das Personal freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Heerlijke schone kamer en badkamer met uitzicht op de Rijn. Trein aan de andere kant lijkt geluidsoverlast te geven, maar in de praktijk is dat niet zo. Verrassende keuken en fantastisch ontbijt. Reserveer wel voor het restaurant. Leuke locatie!
