We have stayed in many hotels over the years, even a couple in Rehoboth, but we have never stayed in one as nice as Hotel Rehoboth. Even after, I think the clerk said, 9yrs of being open, it still looks fresh and very welcoming. The rooms are so well maintained, as is the lobby. The furniture, including the upholstered pieces, were clean and fresh and comfortable to sit in. The beds looked crisp with their white sheets and comforter, the mattress was just right, the pillows fresh and fluffy. The bathroom was roomy, 2 sinks and a nice strong shower. My only complaint was that a walk in shower would have been helpful. The towels were fresh and thick and the robes....oh my, they were amazing! It was nice having a little refrigerator in the room that also had a little freezer, which I rarely see in a hotel anymore. It was just big enough to hold my travel ice pack. We had a nice balcony that over looked Rehoboth Ave and allowed us a grand view of the beautiful fall colors in front of us and across the street in the neighborhood. The front desk folks were very friendly and had great suggestions for dinner. The breakfast that came with the room was in a little Italian restaurant in the hotel and the omlet I had was superb!! There was plenty of hot coffee in the lobby before our scheduled breakfast time and it was good and hot. In the evening they offered wine and cheese and before bed, they offered fresh cookies. But, at your door, a light knock and I opened the door to an offer of chocolates!! I think she would have also turned down our bed had we not been there. It was really nice to have parking right outside the back lobby door and it was free. (Not sure what it's like in the summer.) Although I won't be able to afford to stay there in the summer season, I would love to come back again in the fall.
