Hampton Inn by Hilton Redmond Bend Airport

I stay here several times a year while on business. I usually choose this place over Bend because of the convenience (don’t have to deal with downtown Bend traffic to get on the road). Like I said, I usually enjoy the stay here; it also feels safe. This time I am a bit disgusted by the pet odor. I love animals, especially dogs. I’m glad dogs are allowed. But someone has brought a cat at some point that has left a fowl odor on the entire third floor. It’s like cat spray. That $$#XT just doesn’t come out with a cleaning. Whatever was sprayed by this cat is going to need a full remodel in my opinion. It is prolific across the entire third floor. ( Haven’t smelled the other floors). I also am having allergies due to the strong cat odor. If you have allergies, I highly recommend requesting a non-pet floor! Ugh.

Easy to get to and soooo close to airport. Clean and new with typical Hampton room layout. Comfy bed! They clean rooms why other day which is perfect. I used points for my room. And had great hospitality and no issues. My room faced the freeway and I didn't hear anything, so I'm unsure where previous poster said. Central Oregon is having problems with wildfires. The whole area smells. That's not the hotel.

Used points for one night as we landed late at the airport and wanted a close place to stay. Check in was easy. Room had an Oder to it which might have been from the wild fires . The kicker was we had no electricity in the room except the bathroom and AC unit when we woke up. We got ready by window light and checked out. The front desk was kind and said we should have called down but it was 6 am and we left at 7 Not sure I would return

Lovely facility, nice rooms, good breakfast, and the folks at the front desk were real nice. When I went to check out I was told they they do not accept cash for payment. I asked why and was told that it's a "liability issue." I suggested they let management/ownership know that they need to re-think their policy as I'm likely not the only guest who prefers cash to credit cards. They replied that I wasn't the first, and "if they were to pass along your comments, I would be laughed out of the meeting." (Imagine that) As I sat in the lobby drinking coffee, every second person checking out had an issue with their quoted room rate. I'll be checking out tomorrow. (fingers crossed) Nice place, but the no cash policy means that I won't be coming back, sadly I suspect that won't mean a thing to Hampton's ownership at this location. Still 4 stars out of what would have been a 5 star review.

Exceptional service at this Hampton! Rose is always helpful!! I had a complex set of travel plans - we needed to come and leave multiple times in one weekend and she thoughtfully made appropriate changes so that our stay was seamless. Rose is the best!
