Booked through Trip.com to stay with my wife and our pet dog.
The hotel was described as being pet friendly and allowing people to bring their dogs.
We booked and paid through Trip.com and I left a message with the hotel that we were bring our dog.
We paid the non refunderable payment which was slightly less than the refunderable booking fee.
When we arrived and checked in, the hotel said we needed to pay an extra £10 to bring the dog.
We were there, we had travelled 200 miles to get there, we paid in full to Trip.com for the booking.
And NOW they want this extra money.
I said no I would not pay and after some discussiuon IBIS decided not to charge us.
THIS IS WRONG and TRIP.COM and IBIS HOTEL need to sort out the booking process to make it so if you have paid in advance, that is all done and no extra fees are chargeable.
I am not imressed with TRIP.com or IBIS HOTEL.
