Hotel Giordano

Hotel rooms are tired! Reception staff lovely. Pool staff brilliant Restaurant staff for breakfast and lunch shocking!! Breakfast staff were so poor they let the hotel down. Played rock music and their own music at 07.30 in the morning. The cut fruit wasn’t fresh so by day 2 it was dry or fizzy! . Everything was cold - even scrambled eggs and the bacon was barely warm. Croissants were poor. Some of the pastries etc were also not fresh. Ran out of breakfast tea on Thursday but didn’t bother getting more. Never offered to clear a dirty table never welcomed you to breakfast and asked if you wanted a fresh coffee from the machine, and if they were asked you got a sigh!! They opened up late every day, despite them asking guests up with table moving and they constant talking. I just cannot say a good word about them all apart from a young guy from SriLanka who was great up to the last day who said there was no coffee at it was 9.57!! Service - what service. All the other guests said the same as us about the music the food etc. The pool man wax fantastic helpful and the big bar guy was also fantastic! Reception staff and carparking people were all nice. The rooms are tired and need an upgrade. Old furniture not in keeping with the hotel. Best part of the hotel is the position ?? If you are staying in Ravello it is in a great spot but the management need to sort out the restaurant staff immediately. Starting with the miserable old man who seemed to be in charge. Never got a good morning nothing morose and didn’t want to be there ! And the young girl who also never smiled or welcomed guests.. Avoid the lunches - poor menu and expensive. They even used frozen Mozzarella in their Caprese!!

We were planning on going to this hotel for a wedding, however had to cancel last minute. They were incredibly accommodating with changing reservations and answering all questions. They responded quickly, even given the time difference between US and Italy. Highly recommend!

My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights with our closest family members as we were getting married in Ravello. It was exceptional and I can't fault anything. It's a traditional Italian vibe, very clean and friendly staff. Giuseppe on reception desk was always smiling and helpful with anything we needed. The swimming pool was definitely needed by how hot it was when we were there, it's such a tranquil and relaxing place to be. Thanks for having us :)

Lovely hotel in Ravello and great base for a visit to the Amalfi Coast. The decor is a little outdated, but we loved the tile in the bathroom and a nice little balcony off the room. There is a small parking area if you are self-driving like were were. The gardens are also lovely. There is no restaurant onsite, but you can do breakfast and other meals in their sister hotel a short walk away. They were wonderful working with us two years later to use a credit from a covid cancellation - overall wonderful staff! Great value and very nice hotel, we would highly recommend it!

I stayed here for two nights as I was attending a wedding nearby. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, the Rom I had was very clean and comfortable, with extra pillows and blanket stored in the wardrobe if needed. I had an issue with my adapter, not sure why but the reception lent me a spare which allowed me to use my electronics. The breakfast was a nice selection of cereals and fruit with some hot dishes. The lunch menu was very reasonably priced and great portions. The pool area is very clean, the sun loungers are comfortable and have shaded hoods to keep the sun out of your face if wanted. The staff were very helpful and friendly. I was impressed that anything ordered at the pool bar is brought over to your sun lounger. I would just recommend having a drinks menu at the bar because there wasn’t one and there was a translation barrier when trying to order drinks. I would recommend this hotel.

A very sad hotel. The mattress was old, dipped in, and uncomfortable. The shower was blocked and flooded every time we showered, walls are paper thin so you can hear everything from neighbouring rooms. Breakfast was subpar and the staff are not kind. We switched hotels on our last day and were so glad that we did. Giuseppe at front desk was strange and rude.
