Treehouse Chalets - Luxury Getaway Within a Short Distance of Ella

We stayed at the Tree House Chalet in Belihuloya for our second honeymoon, looking forward to a unique and memorable experience. Overall, the food was good, and the staff were exceptionally friendly, which made us feel welcome. However, despite opting for the more expensive chalet to enhance our experience, there were several issues that unfortunately detracted from our stay. Firstly, the chalet didn’t have air conditioning, which made it difficult for us to sleep comfortably, especially in the warm weather. Additionally, we had expected a tantra bed as advertised, but this was not available in the chalet. We also faced issues with the hot water system, which didn’t work properly, so we couldn’t use the tub as we had planned. One of the most concerning problems was with the door key – it couldn’t be removed from the outside of the door, which left my wife feeling uneasy and worried about security. Considering the price we paid for this experience, we didn’t feel it was worth it given the lack of amenities and some discomforts. I believe there’s room for improvement, especially for those paying a premium for a “better” experience.

Our stay at Tree house chalet was a wonderful experience. The staff was very friendly and helpful, specially the naturalist was very informative and knowledgable. The breakfast picnic and the nature walk were the highlights of our stay. The food was amazing too. Would recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful and a eco-friendly stay.

The Treehouse chalets is an amazing place. In the middle of nowhere you can enjoy and relax with the nature. My room was very nice, clean and offer a beautiful view on trees and the forest. I felt one with the nature. The staff is very friendly and food excellent. I learnt a lot from my tour in the village with our host guide Arun who is very passionate by showing me around. After a long day, I had a relaxing foot massage by Arun who did it very well. What is also amazing was the breakfast by the waterfall. I really enjoyed it. I could only recommend this amazing place which delighted my stay in Sri Lanka.

I stayed one night with my family in my kids summer holidays, this is one of beautiful place invited . We selected mountains view chalet where it had nice pool plunge adjoining to the chalet back yard , chalet was so spacious and o would give 100% for the cleanness . Staff was very help full specially Mr Athula who was so helpful throughout the journey. Food was amazing, very tasty and delicious. I will definitely visit this place again!!

What a surrounding ..... Its unbelievable . All greenery with fresh air. We had a very warm welcome by Hirushi. We reserved their sun rise vista.room. amazing view . Very relaxing . Evening we had fish therapy and foot massage from Arunalu. Superb . Food was very tasty and excellent Staff were very friendly Rooms and entire location very clean. Very specious washroom with all amenities . This property good for more than 1 night stay. Lots of outdoor activities to do. Highly recommend

I spent the last night of my trip in Treehouse Chalets Hotel after a month in Sri Lanka and I can just say that my experience was magical. It was low season so I was the only guest and the staff treated me very well, I felt like a queen. Special location in the middle of nature (with no buildings in front) surrounded all the time by the peaceful sound of a lot of different birds, and beautiful butterflies. After an amazing dinner by myself in front of the dark forest with just a candle I had a Reflexology massage with the manager Arun which was perfect and the best of my life. I woke for the Sunrise and the view took my breath away along the temple chants. Then Arun took me to a hidden magician waterfall. It was the perfect place to finish my trip. It was a shame I didn't have more time because they have very cool activities. I want to Thank you Arun who was very attentive to making my stay as pleasant as possible. I recommend 100% to stay in this Hotel… Peace & Love 🖤
