We stayed here as part of a tour. The rooms are extremely basic with limited electricity and with no screens on the windows, you will need a flashlight to get through. Beds are firm. Free wifi at restaurant, but limited if many people are using at the same time. Restaurant on site. We had dinner and breakfast. Similar food choices and prices to elsewhere in the country.

We have spent two night here while on tour and hiking and exploring Isalo National Park. The lodge is located very close to the park and all trailheads, making it easy to explore. The owners focus on local experience with western influence, which makes it very much comfortable experience. The bungalows and nice and clean, hot water provided and decent Wi-Fi in the restaurant. It is very obvious, that the owners care about the local community as much as they care about great experience for travelers. The tree planting project is impressive. I have very much enjoyed our stay, food and drinks in the restaurant and talking to the owner regarding situation at Madagascar and problems with massive deforestation. Definitely recommend if you like to learn more about the country and help out with tree plantation.

We had a really good time at Jakobs' and Momos' Lodge and Trecking accomodation. We stayed for 5 nights, the bungalow was very clean and with a mosquitonet for the bed. The Tour we did was very nice, we saw rubgle-tailed lemur and sifaka and a lot of other animals, plants and natural pools. The staff at the lodge is lovely and did their best to give us a good time. Jakob also provided us with very helpful tips for the rest of of trio through madagaskar.

A very nice lodge with a local focus, at walking distance of Isalo National Park, with rooms in clean, basic and correct bungalows (we did have hot water, which helps since it's colder at night...). The owners are impressive, do go out to the reforestation project if you have the time. There are a few endemic plants on the terrain as well, very nice. The on-site restaurant is impeccable, producing a range of dishes from local to more "international". Obviously a different price level from the local restaurants, but then you get a proper standard meal, cooked in a professional kitchen. Also: the travel agency on site is an easy way to get a guide to the park (that can't be visited without a guide). We were there in a quiet period which, but I am sure the service will always be very good, really helpful.

It s a nice place in isalo, right on the way to the hiking trails. The guide’s office is just next door. Overall very convenient. The rooms are ok, the beds a little hard but it s a standard in the region. The water is hot which is a plus. I would have appreciated a ventilator or something similar however as the bungalows can feel a little suffocating at night. The crepes were bad though
