Hotel Mercury Residency

The staffs are very friendly and cooperative. I was attending at friends marriage and got a chance to stay at this hotel where I was given a good hospitality.

Though they call it a 3 star hotel first they do not belong to this category. Starting with furnitures and upholstery placed in the rooms and reception are in poor condition the leather type of upper covers are torn at places and the cloth holding beneath have also torn and hanging showing poor maintenance. Coming to other equipments in the room, the wear and tear visible on them are showing their age. The blankets are torn at places under apparently clean cover.The wash room is in miserable condition, water dripping from tap continuously. The lower part of the wash room in touch with water showing stains of crust and same with commode bowl.The door of the washroom not clean and frame of the door chipped and woods visible.Carpets and doormats are shabby and torn. Good thing are -it's location , complimentary breakfast spread though not with many items, acceptable, quality of food served in restaurant not bad, and the staff listens to instructions.
