Ramona Valley Inn

The sheets in both rooms we booked were visibly soiled, and in one place seemed to have holes that were burned through. There were unusual stains on the walls in places, as well as holes in some places in the walls. I would not recommend this establishment.

I was surprised how clean the room was upon entering and how helpful the staff were. It was super hot yesterday and their air conditioner ran cold and keep us cool. The eoom was affordable which who doesn't love. Enjoyed the experience here and the stay in Ramona. We will definitely come back again.

I've stayed at the Ramona Inn Hotel several times. One thing always stands out in my mind and that is the service provided by Alex at the reception desk. What great service he provides. Alex shows not only professionalism in his dealings yet welcomes me with a big smile. His kindness and helpfulness makes it every time a very pleasant stay.

We checked in and were able to walk to dinner at the Barn next door Yum The receptionist suggested it On checkout Alex helped us and was empowered to solve a little problem. There was a microwave and refrigerator in the room and enough chairs for the two of us. We slept well. The decorating for an older hotel was great The heater was quieter than expected. Hooks next to door for coats and hats were great. My only suggestions - a shelf in the shower and a soap dish or conversion to liquid containers for soap, body wash and shampoo and conditioner. There’s a coffee pot set up in the room

The moment I arrived at Ramona Valley Inn, I felt right at home. The inn's unpretentious exterior and friendly staff immediately put me at ease. The rooms at Ramona Valley Inn are simple yet comfortable, with a touch of vintage flair. They're not fancy, but they have everything you need for a cozy stay. The beds are soft and inviting, ensuring a good night's sleep after a long day of exploring the area. I appreciated the clean and well-maintained rooms, a testament to the inn's attention to detail.

Had a great time during our stay.Perfect for a weekend getaway. Ample and safe parking. The staff is very friendly and accommodating! Highly recommend to anyone visiting Ramona and around with friends and family

Tried to visit the Ramona Valley Inn for 2 nights in early July for my wife’s birthday so we were close to the San Diego Safari Zoo and a few wineries. After checking in we went to our room, which was hidden in a corner of the property and entered only to be immediately greeted by about 15-20 flies hovering above the bed. We tried to convince ours it was ok and we’ll get rid them. We began to unload and went to the restroom to place our items but the restroom smelled so bad like either some had just used it or sewer. Again trying to convince ourselves that it was ok and we’ll make it work. Then we opened the blinds to try and begin getting rid of the flies but immediately outside our window was the neighbors garbage! Still- we wanted to make it work and changed for dinner. Upon leaving we realized we couldn’t do it as more flies continued to appear and noticed how dirty the rest of the rooms was. I went to the front desk to try and explain the situation and get a refund. The clerk said she could only refund the second night but not the first. I asked if there’s another room available and she said “no, we’re fully booked”, I said “ok so we’re supposed to stay in a dirty, fly infested room? Why can we get a refund then?” Then she didn’t say anything and proceed to mess with the credit card machine. Not saying anything, she processed a refund for the second night, handed me the receipt and said “here’s your refund for the second night, I can’t help you about the first”. ***! I said I want a refund and she just shrugged. We packed up and left. Absolutely disgusting accommodations & service! I’ve emailed and called trying to get a refund; and I’ve been able to find the owners emails. Non of which have responded even tho I use an email tracker and can see they’ve opened them, haha. The absolute worst. DO NOT STAY HERE.

Keep driving or better yet just stay in ElCajon or San Diego this place is awful they cacelled my son reservation due to water damage in the room but they only called him once and since it was a out of state unknown number he did not answer and they did not bother to leave a voicemail so he got there with no place to sleep they sent him a email telling him about the cancelation the day after he was to stay.We had a room also si we stayed but wished we hadn't the room had a faint urine smell about it,there was no toilet paper in the bathroom.The floor was gritty dirty.The table to set your belongings on had a broken leg. The lady at the front desk clearly did not want her job and could care less about helping anyone. Overall it is run down and dirty and the only place to stay in the town so they really don't care.

The Room Decor was unique, shower & Vanity was amazing, Staff & Cleaning crew where supper helpful n ever ready to give service. It was an awesome hotel. The towels and bed sheet were super clean & spotless. The location is excellent. The Barn Restaurant,bar & dancing floor across the side street is too good and convenient.
