Casino Rama Resort

Casino Rama needs to get it together. Went for a show and can't believe how poorly managed the Casino is now. Haven't been since before covid but only for a lack of interest in the venue line up. This was a sold out show of predominantly 20-40 year olds. Arrived just before 6, hoping to eat at the new Match restaurant but it was an l & 1/2 half hour wait, so we were put on the waiting list, (tried to reserve on Open Table but no availability for Friday and Saturdays). Then went to St. Germain’s and tried that waiting list as well. Back to the Casino Floor for a drink and gamble-l believe the only bar is the Centre bar. 3 Bartenders.... 3. 5000 people.... This is massive round bar that was partitioned with the nylon ribbon ropes/stands like going thru the airport, so only 3 spots to walk up. We lined up and were about 30th in line. Many employees walked behind the bar to gawk at the people waiting but nothing was done to correct. No additional help or even another person to just take payment so the bartenders could serve drinks. This is not how bar service works, nor was there a floor server to be seen. After 25 minutes we were 2 people away from being served but were notified that our table was available at St. Germain's. 25 minutes the Casino wasted and if people were served they could have walked the floor and gambled. St. Germaine's was good, seasoning was a little bland but decent and perfect timing to make it to the start of the show. Walking in the venue and straight ahead, just past the entry was the bar line that ran all the way to the back wall, as far as the stage inside. Couldn't see how many bartenders but I assume only 1 or 2 since it was nestled in what looked like a closet. I would imagine there was the same set up on the opposite side of the stage where you enter. Post show-grabbed a coffee from Tims and still wanted to try our luck on the floor. Now the centre bar had line ups to the walls! Nuts. Even if there is a labour shortage-figure it out, Pay more, give incentives! This used to be a stellar place for a night out but now, when there are so many more venue options, it's truly a disappointment.

Great room, very spacious with 2 double beds, sofa chair, and fireplace! Check in staff very courteous. Beds are comfortable. Separate tub from shower and spacious. Room was quiet and easy to find. This was my 2nd stay and I was not disappointed.

The rooms were absolutely fabulous. We were very surprised at the decor and the spacy room. Definitely above the average. We will definitely be going back there. Everything is so convenient and close by.
