Galibore Nature Camp - Junglelodges and Resorts

As with other Jungle Lodges properties, location & ambience at this lodge/camp was great. Last few kilometers of the road to the property are unpaved road but it's very scenic forest road with a great view of the river all throughout. Tents are spacious, clean and well furnished. Service was excellent, and staff members were very friendly. Food was very delicious & variety was great for vegetarians & non-vegetarians. Coracle ride, short jungle ride, trek in the morning we well organised. View of the Cauvery River flowing fast & furious during monsoon was a great experience.

The ambience of the staff is really appreciable Mr Lokesh was too good and shivu and vijay was readily available for any service any time the scenic nature beauty the river cauvery the birds chirping nature walk jeep ride coracle ride is too good was made more memorable with Mr Mahadev it was a awesome wonderful experience.

Galibore nature camp is slightly off the beaten track in comparison to the other jungle lodges in Karnataka. This also adds to tie experience by being remote and isolated. There is only BSNL signal at the camp but they do have a wifi network which has reasonable connectivity from the tented camps. We saw upwards of 40 elephants belonging to 3 saperate herds that were all attracted to the water due to the extremely dry summer this year. The staff were hospitable, professional and were flexible to accomodate our needs. Highly recommend this trip given its proximity to Bangalore too for a weekend getaway.

Went on a day trip, arrived late, and there was thus not too much for me to do. If you go more leisurely you will have a nice time. The staff is excellent, especially the manager. Food is also quite good. In the little time that I stayed there I saw two crocs.

Reaching the place is easy but only one entry from the sangama side is working. So if you are coming from the west side of Karnataka, don't trust google maps and better contact the resort before your arrival. It's a beautiful riverside place to relax and connect with nature. The coracel rides are unique. Especially in a river where crocodiles also reside, makes it adventurous. But it's totally safe and the guides help you to remain safe. Make sure to enjoy sunset time coracle ride. Jungle safari helps you see many birds, spotted deers, peacocks and sometimes elephants. However I personally like the morning nature walk more than the safari. The naturalists explain you about nature and habitats of many animals species and birds that you get to see ***** the way. Trek to nearby hills and view of the river from the hill top is not to be missed. If you are staying longer (2night or more), do make sure to enjoy complementary ride to Mekedatu (entry fees to be paid extra). It's another unique experience. Room/Tents are clean and enough spacious with all required amenities round the clock. Sleep quality was good. As with many other jungle lodges, hospitality and food is awesome. Five stars to resort manager and staffs for this. One unique aspect of this place is riverside bonfire with snacks. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommended.
