It’s a perfect little gem of a stay. John and his pup are the nicest and so welcoming. Very comfy bed! Every added little luxury you could want.

There isn’t one thing the proprietor John hasn’t thought of. I was amazed at how well-equipped this inn was—I barely had to unpack anything because it was already there.
The house is expertly designed and the very first thing that struck me was how lovely it smelled everywhere.
In a beautiful quiet residential neighborhood that’s a stone’s throw from the center of Raleigh. John has amazing recommendations for anything you might be hankering for while in town.
I stay in a lot of more anonymous places while on work travel but this lovely guesthouse was a welcome change of pace for me.

Just the BEST!
John was the penultimate host: friendly, smart, gracious and helpful. The house is well-lit, beautifully designed and supremely comfortable. Spotless and thoughtfully laid out. Extremely comfortable bed and bedding. It was an ideal spot and conveniently located on several counts. This is the way to go!

This one one of the best places I've ever stayed! It's beautiful, trendy, clean, homey and well-located. John has the best advice for restaurants and coffee shops and made me feel really comfortable. Everything I could have wanted was there, from cute snacks in the room to a thoughtful array of toiletries in the bathroom. The downstairs area was a great place to work and hang out too. Definitely coming back here!

Perfect stay! The property was so unique and our room had everything we needed, and a lot of things we didn’t need. Our hosts were great and the next time were in Raleigh we’ll definitely be back.

John was an incredible host! The property is tastefully decorated and put together down to the finest detail. You can tell that John (The owner) cares a lot about his guests' experience staying at The Store. I will absolutely be booking here again.

What a beautiful place to stay, in an ideal situation a short walk from downtown Raleigh. The owner John is great, full of information about the area and ideas for places to visit and eat. We enjoyed our breakfast at Boulted Bread, as recommended by John. The place itself has everything that you could possibly want...and more! Excellent.

Would stay over and over again!
John's hospitality is astounding and warm, the place has everything you need: great location, comfy rooms, and a friendly bed/breakfast feel (is not a B&B). Would recommend 10/10!!
