Lovely hotel, shower slightly small but all is good. Also would suggest to supply water for 2 in the room? Or maybe I forgot to ask for it.

Posizione eccellente, al confine tra Ragusa centro e Ragusa Ibla. Struttura molto bella e personale estremamente garbato e disponibile. Discreta la prima colazione con possibilità di scegliere tra diverse miscele di caffè. Da migliorare la pulizia della camera e in particolare del bagno. Un punto di riferimento a Ragusa.

Fantastic location and charming staff. The best beds of the trip. Elegantly appointed and well maintained. It is a converted palazzo so the layout was a bit strange. Each of our rooms included two king beds in two generously sized rooms…one medium firm and one firm. But only one chair. There were benches too so plenty of room. The large bathrooms included only a tub with a wand and no shower. Fun watching my husband take his first bath in at least 20 years! We had apertivo in the hotel and the cocktails were well made. The staff even brought snacks out without us having to ask. Breakfast was good with excellent coffee service and eggs on the buffet. It was the first hotel on this trip that included several milk alternatives and gluten free options. The location made walking down to Ragusa Ibla easy (we did take a taxi back up). They had free parking a few blocks away that allowed us easy access to our car. They also offered a pool and gardens at a sister hotel a few blocks away. My only wish was for coffee in the rooms.

Very impressive hotel with some very large rooms. Ours had a fantastic balcony looking over the street and featured some beautiful original architectural details. The choice of furniture felt a little 2000's and slightly out of place so that felt a little disappointing. The hotel features a spa with a mini pool which is very nice and can be booked privately with a bottle of wine, a nice extra. Breakfast was standard buffet style and very average given the upscale feel of the hotel. Location wise it is on a very quiet street but is in walking distance of most things, not that there is too much going on in Ragusa, it is very pretty though. Overall it was pretty expensive but worth it for the night.

When we arrived a lady at reception helped us to carry our luggage to our room. We slept very well indeed because the hotel was situated in a quiet street, yet very close to the centre of Ragusa Superiore. It was amazing to walk and cover virtually the entire area to see the charming historic sights including so many churches in both Ragusa Ibla and Ragusa central, and to hear their bells chime regularly, was a beautiful experience. At breakfast, ladies greeted us, and each time we wanted certain edibles, the ladies came to our assistance. De Stefano's Director, was exceptional and made our stay perfect by going the extra mile, offering advice if we needed anything out of the ordinary. What a welcoming professional she is, always homely, smiling and happy. All the staff were terribly friendly and helpful, and so very eager to please and the service was first class. The room was kept in pristine condition and the bed was extremely comfortable. The hotel's position was fine, close to the many steps down and up to Ibla, and then up to the centre of Ragusa to go shopping or sightseeing there too. Restaurants were plentiful and with a little detective work, we found brilliant eateries off the beaten track and oh my, the variety of so so tasty cannoli became mind boggling. The venues that stood out for us for dinner were La Taverna Del Lupo, authentic and one we kept going back to, Trattoria da Luigi, Trattoria La Bettola and if you do not mind walking off a heavenly meal, then you must dine at Trattoria nto' Cumannanti, what a down to earth fun place with bustling atmosphere to enhance your taste buds. For lunch or a bite to eat, you have to go to Benvenuti al Sud, small family run with fantastic home cooked meals, and for an incredible variety of yummy delights we found ourselves returning often to Caffé Sicilia which had everything, and finally look out for fine bakeries such as the Panificio Carpenzano located in Corso Italia, and others presenting scrumptious and wholesome snacks. We had a wonderful stay at the De Stefano Palace Luxury Hotel. It was a fantastic holiday and it was a real pleasure to stay at the De Stefano. We found The De Stefano Luxury Hotel superb, and Ragusa Superiore and Ragusa Ibla were fine examples to see Sicily's splendid architecture. Well done De Stefano, truly recommended.

Noi abbiamo soggiornato al De Stefano Luxury Palace durante le vacanze pasquali del 2025 e abbiamo trovato la struttura molto curata, il personale accogliente e la colazione, anche se con opzioni ridotte, con pietanze di ottima qualità. Ci ha lasciati un po’ perplessi la camera: utilizzando la doccia da diverse parti del muro è uscita acqua e nella parte che costeggia la vasca da bagno (che con un doccino diventa una doccia) si è creata una piccola pozza; un altro aspetto da migliorare per quanto riguarda il bagno è la privacy: entrando dalla porta d’ingresso della camera si vede il wc, infatti l’unica cosa che (non) divide lo spazio dell’ingresso dal bagno è un vetro trasparente. Trattandosi di una stanza per quattro persone sarebbe opportuno fare in modo che ogni ospite avesse la propria privacy.

Siamo clienti ormai da anni della struttura, e ci torniamo sempre con piacere! Belle le camere, bella la struttura, anche se non grandissima. Ottima colazione. Ma soprattutto, personale gentilissimo, Matteo in primis! Ma tutti assolutamente all’altezza!!

Posto incredibile; stanza spaziosa e con soffitto affrescato. Abbiamo usufruito anche della spa. Niente da dire solo che magnifica; ci hanno anche lasciato una piccola merenda. Il personale gentilissimo e disponibile ad ogni ora. Grazie di tutto, ritorneremo

La mia esperienza presso questo hotel 4 stelle è stata disastrosa, e francamente mi chiedo come possano mantenere tale classificazione. L'hotel era incredibilmente sporco, con una carenza di personale evidente che ha reso il soggiorno ancora più sgradevole. L’unica receptionist, lenta e poco professionale, ha causato lunghe attese al check-in, creando una pessima prima impressione. La sala colazione era buia, con una parete invasa da umidità e muffa—un ambiente assolutamente inadatto per iniziare la giornata. La stanza che mi è stata assegnata, una "prestige" tripla al piano terra, seppure grande, era un vero incubo: priva di finestre, con una scomoda apertura che dava direttamente sulla strada. La camera era umida, con un odore sgradevole e persistente, buia e soffocante. La TV non funzionava, e quando ho chiesto assistenza, mi è stato detto che avrei dovuto collegarmi con la Smart TV, senza però ricevere alcuna spiegazione utile. Come se non bastasse mentre mi trovavo fuori zona ho chiamato l’hotel per prenotare un taxi, ma non è mai arrivato, lasciandomi a risolvere il problema da sola. È un vero peccato, considerando che il palazzo storico avrebbe del potenziale, ma purtroppo sembra essere in piena decadenza. Non tornerò mai più e sicuramente non lo consiglierò a nessuno. Ho passato un weekend con mia moglie presso questa bella struttura, veramente molto confortevole e solo già il fatto che hanno accettato la mia cagnolina, già per me sono il top. Veramente molto ben organizzati, personale molto cordiale e disponibile, ragazze veramente in gamba, complimenti, ottima la colazione, prodotti di ottima qualità, ho anche provato i prodotti da bagno e sono molto buoni e profumati i migliori forse che ho trovato in strutture della stessa categoria. Senza scendere troppo nei dettagli Vi invito a fare però un po’ più attenzione nella pulizia delle camere e anche fuori, in quanto ho visto qualcosa che onestamente non ho gradito molto, ma sicuramente saprete darvi rimedio. Grazie di tutto e a presto.

Palazzo storico finemente restaurato, elegante raffinato con pavimenti e decori originali, suite molto ampia con vasca idromassaggio a vista,colazione con vasta scelta di prodotti tipici e non, staff gentile e professionale. Sicuramente da provare anche l'area spa

Struttura molto curata, camere ampie e luminose. La colazione offre una selezione di prodotti tipici locali in un ambiente rilassante. La punta di diamante Alexia alla reception, ci ha accolto con competenza e affabilità, sempre solerte e disponibile pronta ad offrire consigli e soluzioni. Sorridente e accogliente ci ha fatto sentire a casa. Grazie!

Abbiamo usufruito della spa senza soggiornare,la struttura non possiede uno spogliatoio con le docce: abbiamo dovuto utilizzare la doccia dell'area spa lavandoci con il costume e essendosi allagata tutta l'area (rischiando più volte di scivolare) e anche il bagno non abbiamo potuto utilizzare gli asciugacapelli e i servizi.Ci siamo dovuti cambiare nell'ingresso della spa con solo due sedie di appoggio anche se eravamo in sei. Non adatta a chi vi accede dall'esterno. Non la consiglierei né la rifarei .
