Riu Palace Boavista - All Inclusive

Reception was fantastic we were greeted and upgraded to a pool villa fantastic start. Pool villa was fantastic it gives you a choice to be alone, and they are well set up. The pools and bars are all superb. The theatre was good. The food was amazing, both buffet and speciality. The staff are all friendly and cannot do enough. It is our favourite Riu alongside riu palace aruba. Well done and thank you to Riu Palace Boa Vista.

RIU Palace Boavista has been one of the best hotels we have stayed at! The staff were very friendly, they couldnt do enough for us - this really made our stay at the hotel! Clean rooms with a comfy bed, fab entertainment with themed nights, good food options - we have really loved every minute of our stay here! Thank you to all of the staff at Palace Boavista!

Staff here are great, and made very welcome. We had a standard room booked, but on arrival as I had put on the booking that this was a special occasion we were upgraded to a villa room. The location right on the beach was perfect, and if the sea was ‘red flagged’ then two pools to swim in. Plenty to choose from at the buffet restaurants, and worth booking a meal in the speciality restaurants as well. The overall quality of the resort good, I don’t think it is that old. About 5 minutes from the airport, so a quick transfer. At the time no many flights, and on disturbance by any jets going overhead. For a first time in Cape Verde it was an excellent resort to stay in.

We had a lovely relaxing time. always made to feel welcome by members of staff and management. especially Daniel. this hotel is a lovely hotel. I f i had to moan about any thing. I feel that the swim up rooms could do with more comfortable sun beds they are very hard to lay on for us oldies. that's it.

A superb holiday, perfect for a winter break. All aspects of the hotel matched up to our expectations. Would highly recommend

Arrived at the Riu Palace Bia Vista and was not dissapointed - as we had already checked on on line just needed to go to reception and collect the room keys - cases were delivered to the room within 30 minutes - hotel is very clean and tidy and staff are very friendly - there are plenty of sunbeds around the 3 pools and on the beach right next to the pools - no-one running down to try and reserve a sunbed at 7 in the morning - we strolled down at 10.30 - 11.00 and had no trouble finding 3 sunbeds together - bar staff are exceptional - never a long queue for a drink and 2 swim up bars to choose from - plenty of branded drinks on offer and a good selection of cocktails. My daughter is Gluten Intollerant and had no problems eating - gluten free bread was available on request at breakfast and Gluten free pizza and pasta could be ordered at a prior sitting (ie. Order at breakfast for lunch or order at lunch for dinner) - some of the food had indicators to show which contained wheat etc and staff vety helpful - a big thank you to Freddi in the main restaurant who looked after us really well - only dissapointment was the coffee at breakfast - quite bitter and not to my taste - loved the Riu app on my phone you could request anything for your room - maintanence, water, mini bar top up etc without having to go through reception - the hotel is quiet and peaceful and entertainment finishes at 10 - 10.30. We were looking for a quiet relaxing holiday and this was perfect for us - the Cabo Verde saying of 'No Stress" fits this hotel really well - we will be looking at returning next February as the weather was fantastic
