Riu Palace Boavista - All Inclusive

Service wonderful, room very well laid out for wheelchair access, bathroom fully accessible in wheelchair including the shower area, with fitted chair for easy transfer and grab rails situated in good positions. Bed very comfortable and made up as often as you require, with beautiful artwork made from soft furnishings. Balcony accessible with wheelchair without assistance needed. Entire hotel fully accessible with ease. Which made our stay perfect. There is a hoist to assist getting in and out of the pool if required. Sun beds are a little low if you are unable to transfer, but having spoken with the manager, it is the pipeline for possibly different ones when the hotel is refurbished. We will definitely be coming back as this is a wonderful hotel. The staff are absolutely amazing, extremely friendly and very helpful. Food is very tasty and beautifully presented, with plenty of choice, but if you do decide to go to any of the bookable restaurants be aware that the men must wear long trousers.

Well here we are on our last full day at RIU Palace on Boa Vista and we’ve had a brilliant time at this hotel.All the staff are very friendly and welcoming and they can’t do enough for you.The complex is spotless throughout and even all the foliage in the gardens are pristine.You don’t have to get up at stupid o clock to get a sunbed either around the pool or on the beach as there’s plenty for everyone but having said that,I don’t know what it’s like in the height of summer.The only problem we had which is really neither here nor there is the fact that trying to make a reservation in the speciality restaurants proved to be difficult as when we tried to book there wasn’t any availability but just by chance we’ve managed to get a table in the steakhouse tonight on our last night.All in all we can recommend this hotel and we will certainly return one day as you can’t go wrong with a RIU hotel.

Hotel is lovely. Very clean and all the staff are friendly welcoming and always helpful. We had a swim up room but I think due to the time of year the water was freezing so we didn’t use it that much. Food is good. Some lunches were a struggle with some recycled food for the following day. Breakfast was amazing tho. Respect to the omelette makers 👍 Evening meals were good and the speciality restaurants were very good. The Japanese was our favourite. Only thing missing from them was maybe some background music. Everyone was whispering as you could hear everything. Overall a fab stay. We did nip out for food a couple of times even though we were all inclusive. The beach club around the corner was really good. Spent a full Day there on their sunbeds and had lunch and drinks. We also went into town and had an amazing evening meal at Soldade. That place I highly recommend 👍 Definitely come back to Cape Verde that’s for sure 👌
