We found this riad when running from a bad experience at Riad Palais D’Or. We went there to inquire about openings and the manager was gracious and kind, letting us store belongings until room was ready. Beautiful place, lovely breakfast included, all amenities functioned perfectly! Management present every time we came and went!

I recommend this Riad. We spent 3 nights with a group of 9 people. The rooms are large, spacious. The service is very helpful, only the breakfasts could be more varied because they are only sweet. The overall impression, the location is highly recommendable.

We travelled for 13 days in Morocco and this was one of my favourite riads. The room was unusual: long and narrow, perhaps slightly dark but with thick drapes to cover both windows and the door into the central courtyard. Very quiet. Even the shower was unusual: it appeared to be made of stone. Even though the room was slightly darker, the light above the bathroom mirror was very bright allowing us to get ready with ease. Staff were great and the breakfast wonderful.

If you want to immerse into the Medina life in Rabat, Riad Dar Soufa is the best option. The Medina in Rabat is at the center of the city, so I recommend you to stay there even if you want to explore different areas. Said and his family made us feel at home. He was very attentive since minute 0 and warmly welcomed us, inviting us to drink Morocco tea at our arrival. Rooms are spacious, with all the amenities that you may need during your stay, and very clean. The bed is also comfortable. The breakfast on the patio was very nice and complete. A special mention to Said and his family. They were very helpful and friendly all the time.

Our first night in Morocco and this was a wonderful place to stay. The Riad is not far from the entrance to the Medina set in a quiet lane and was you enter the hustle and bustle from the streets disappears. We were welcomed with mint tea and sweets and shown our lovely Riad room which was very comfortable with beautiful Moroccan architectural details. The breakfast was filling and delicious - breads, fruit, yoghurt and tea or coffee. As the Riad is situated in the Medina, there is lots to see close by and the Kasbah and ocean are within easy walking distance. This is a great place to stay in Rabat and Rabat itself is a lovely city to visit!

Small riad inside the medina. Easy to get to since it is just off one of the main alleys. Clean, comfortable bed. They had shampoo and lotion, but in my opinion they have to change to different one. …They had a way too strong musk smell. Good wifi. Breakfast consists of a variety of breads, yogurt, fruits, orange juice, tea/coffee, olives. Rabat ville is about 15 minutes walk. They can also arrange airport pickup. We paid 700dhs from CMN

In general, we had a very nice stay at this riad. Nice location in the medina but also near the coast, casbah, and new town. The staff was quite nice and breakfast was tasty. The one event that put a damper on our visit at this riad was when we tried to book a car to Fes. We saw a price on the riad's page of 90dh. When we asked the personable young man to book us a car, he quoted us 130dh. I mentioned that we saw 90dh quoted on the riad's own literature. He later said the taxi driver made a mistake and that it was indeed 90dh. When we got to Fes, the taxi driver asked for 100dh. I'm genuinely hoping that it was some sort of misunderstanding, but, after such a nice stay, it left a bad taste in our mouths.

Abbiamo soggiornato in questo Riad durante il nostro viaggio in Marocco ed è stata un’esperienza indimenticabile. La struttura è un vero gioiello: curata nei minimi dettagli, con una terrazza panoramica perfetta per rilassarsi dopo una giornata di esplorazione. La nostra camera sembrava uscita direttamente da “Le mille e una notte”, con arredi tradizionali, colori caldi e un’atmosfera intima e accogliente. Nonostante l’inverno, la stanza del Riad era sorprendentemente ben riscaldato, un dettaglio non scontato in Marocco e che abbiamo apprezzato moltissimo. La colazione è stata un altro punto forte: preparata al momento con specialità marocchine deliziose, tè profumato e frutta fresca dal sapore autentico. Lo staff è stato impeccabile: puntuale, discreto e sempre disponibile a soddisfare ogni nostra esigenza. Consigliamo vivamente questo Riad a chi cerca un soggiorno autentico, confortevole e ricco di fascino.

Locatie niet direct makkelijk te vinden. Zoals steeds in' een riad is het interieur op zijn minst in scherp contrast met de buitenwereld. Heel proper. Vriendelijke ontvangst. Gezellige en ruime kamer. Uitgebreid en lekker ontbijt. Zéer rustige en relaxte sfeer.
