After six months of researching hotels in Quito, I’m thrilled that I chose the Carlotta Hotel. The property was immaculate, and the rooms had a charming, nostalgic feel. The service was exceptional; they addressed all my questions even before booking and assisted with transportation and recommendations throughout our stay. Angélica and Miguel went above and beyond by waiting up late for our arrival. The rooms were fantastic with clean, crisp linens, and though the bathroom was small, the overall atmosphere was cozy. The high ceilings, exposed brick, and shutters added to the charm. This was one of the most delightful stays I’ve experienced, capturing a genuine Spanish ambiance in a quaint setting. After exploring other small hotels, we decided to cancel our subsequent reservations and return to the Carlotta Hotel. We stayed in both the Loft and the Camporia rooms and loved every moment. The bisto was always yummy and the service and chef was so attentive and caring! We enjoyed ceviche, steak and of course red wine both at the restaurant and rooftop bar.

This hotel was amazingly beautiful, and the service was over and beyond expectations. Paola, the The receptionist was awesome. We needed a Medical item for my son-in-law. She helped us find a location that had it and arranged for pick up and delivery to us Which was amazing. The breakfast was wonderful and the welcome snack was delicious. I would absolutely recommend this hotel and it was two blocks from the main Square.

Beautiful hotel in the heart of Quito. Staff were remarkably friendly and inviting. Situated two minutes from the center of Old Town in Quito. Food at their restaurant was excellent and they accommodated our vegetarian diets. The rooftop has a 360 view of the city perfect for having evening drinks. Clean, comfortable, would highly recommend!

Very comfortable and modern hotel in the center of old town. Friendly and helpful staff, great food, clean room and premises. Would stay again for sure. The roof bar has an epic view of Quito, and there is a nice restaurant inside with Ecuadorian food

Avoid at all cost One of the worst stays as a 20+ yeard Bonvoy member. Hotel Carlota, which was recently added to the Bonvoy portfolio, is not meeting the expected standards of cleanliness and attention to detail that are associated with the Bonvoy brand. Specifically, the hotel's cleanliness is lacking, and the front desk is not staffed after 11:00 p.m. I have attempted to contact the hotel to resolve these issues, but my efforts have been unsuccessful. In contrast, my stay at the JW in Quito the previous night was exceptional. Avoid staying at this hotel due to its unhygienic conditions, including unchanged towels and sheets, as well as the presence of used bathrobes and slippers. It is filthy and Bonvoy really needs to evaluate who they are adding to their portfolio!!

The hotel is beautifully renovated and each and every one of the staff is extremely helpful and friendly. They accomodated our need to take meals on the rooftop, and pointed out exceptional points of interest and a fabulous restaurant. The inhouse chef prepares very good food too.

This hotel is top notch. The experience was wonderful. The rooms were warm and comfortable. The location was excellent. This is a quaint hotel with an excellent restaurant and staff. We HIGHLY recommend staying at the Carlota! Jim and Suzanne Jelinek

Beautifully restored boutique hotel, walking distance to the central historical district. Room was small, but lots of public spaces and great rooftop bar. Can't say enough about the warm and helpful staff who made our stay exceptional, including the great restaurant and chef in the hotel.
