Tico Tico Villas - Adult Only

Loved it here! We didn’t even need to leave the villa, we saw monkeys, the resident iguanas, parrots! Beautiful! Eugene, Justin and Vernita were brilliant, the best customer service, thank you so much, we really hope we can come back again one day!! 😊

The room is nice with good amenities. There was a smell of damp however although unsure where this was coming from. The pool looked dirty and not very enticing. Not too much going on around the hotel, a car would be useful Staff seemed friendly

We love our apartment in Tico Tico Villas. The kitchen is well-equipped, the beds are very comfortable, and the pool is lovely. The property is clean and well-maintained inside and out. Good wifi, and easy to get around by public transport. Our kind host, Vernita, made us feel right at home and provided helpful information whenever needed. We would come back in a heartbeat (and stay longer next time!)

This is it!! This is the kind of place we were looking for during our three weeks in Costa Rica. Rooms were tastefully decorated, spotlessly clean, well equipped, and the hospitality of Eugene and Vernita was first rate!! Our room had a lovely view of the pool and the gardens. Parking was easy, with several restaurants within walking distance.

Beautiful Beautiful Resort…The perfect place for a week, month or a year to Enjoy the Best of Costa Rica! We went for 3 week vacation when my husband retired, extended it to 3 months, then….stayed for 3 years. OMG the Best and Most caring Owners and entire Staff. Can’t wait to go back!

My husband and I visited Costa Rica and Tico Tico Villas for the first time. Our villa was a one-bedroom patio studio #6 and met our needs. There is a balcony at the front and at the back outside of the bedroom, a kitchenette with gas stove (but who’s cooking on vacation?) The a/c is in the bedroom but also cools the living room. The small pool was a great place to meet our neighbors who were all very friendly. There is a store on property for water, snacks and items you may need. Tico Tico is a safe gated small property, about 10-12 villas with the bus stop right in front (we only used a taxi twice.) We met Vernita, the manager and Eugene the owner who lives across the street and Miguel in the store. They were so helpful and friendly. Vernita even arranged for transportation back to the airport and was always a WhatsApp message away. The location of Tico Tico was perfect for us. We could hop on the bus and go anywhere, the beach (as many did,) the market, all of the restaurants or to a high end hotel with a rooftop bar for drinks, appetizers and a gorgeous sunset. Miguel arranged a sunset dinner catamaran cruise for us that was a lot of fun. We’ll return to Tico Tico Villas!

Lovely place, fully equiped. Plus, Vernita is super sweet! Perfect location, if you want to go to the park or explore other beaches as well. We will definetely be going back. Thank you soo much for making our vacation really somethig else!!!

Vernita was a very nice and attentive host. She helped us with recommendations on where to eat/drink and transportation to and from the property. WiFi was working well, we did not use the pool. The kitchenette was fully equipped, but the rest of the apartment was a bit crowded with furniture/decor.

If you need a central location that will allow you to enjoy your stay in Costa Rica this is a must pick. We booked this for my ladies 33 birthday and it was everything I asked for and more. I have nothing bad to say about this place besides don't use the oven! Unless you know what your doing. I blew myself up. Literally. The staff went above and beyond to make sure the stay was perfect. From booking our trips to making suggestions and even being a taxi to dinner. This was one of the best places I've stayed all around due to customer service. The villa was clean and well kept nothing special but enough to be comfortable and relaxed . Besides the occasional lizard walking around you won't run into any unwanted animals but still feel have the jungle vibe. The bus stops right in front if u want to venture off on your own and there is a couple restaurants close by that are bomb (el arado). Bottom line if you need a cool place to stay your best bet is tico tico
