Jungle Vista Boutique Hotel

This was such an amazing Hotel with the friendliest staff I've ever met. I felt completely at home the entire stay. The double pool and waterfall not only sounded so peaceful, but felt relaxing as well. I enjoyed monkeys swinging in the trees and late night dips in the pool with a fanta and chicken fingers brought to me poolside. Special shout out to the restaurant guys and Monica!!!!

Jungle Vista was our best location during our two weeks in Costa Rica. We booked this hotel for 2 nights later in the evening. When we arrived we were taken to our room and the air conditioner had not been fixed. It was ok things happen but how it was handled put them at the top of our list. They were truly apologetic and done all they could to make it right and moved us to another room. We could not have been happier with our accommodations. What they did not know was we left our previous hotel in a different area due to poor accommodations and not the best service. Their warm welcome was so comforting after a long stressful day. We seen monkeys and sloths from our room. Wake up early and you can hear the howler monkeys waking up! Thank you again for such a wonderful place to stay and the amazing customer service.

We had a wonderful stay at Jungle Vista. Outstanding service by each and everyone of the staff. From the reception desk to the bar and restaurant personnel, to the maintenance and cleaning crew. Always willing to help and with a big smile. A true “jungle vista” thanks to a wide variety of birds visiting and a mother sloth and her new born living in a bamboo tree a few yards away, as well as a cute family of monkeys that visited occasionally. The rooms were spotless and the beds and linens incredible. If I were to find any room for improvement would be to find lower place to place the safe box. It was high for me to reach. No biggie considering I’m not a tall person. But besides that, I highly recommend it.

This is a wonderful spot with beautifully appointed rooms, a wonderful jungle outlook, a resident sloth, lovely pools, a solid restaurant, and an EXCELLENT STAFF! [Not to mention, good access to restaurants, a bank and grocery store up a somewhat steep hill]. We had the unique experience of being the only guests here due to a tree falling across power lines the day before we arrived (guests having been relocated before the hotel reopened the day of our arrival.) We were SO cared for my the front desk staff, David, Sebastian, and especially, Monica. They made sure that we had transport to the sister hotel for breakfast, made arrangements for modified pick-ups for tours when necessary, made sure that we had a very early - and elegant - breakfast delivered to our room in advance of a 7:30 am pick-up for a tour. It was a terrific experience and we felt more like friends or family than just tourists there for a few days.

Great little hotel with all rooms overlooking the jungle. Comfortable and clean. Nice restaurant with delicious coffee and free breakfast. Emily and the rest of the staff were friendly and helpful. Walkable to restaurants and beaches. I would stay here again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here My family stayed in the iguana suites which were super clean and beautiful each with a balcony where you could view wildlife daily all around including 3 types of monkeys, lizards and birds. Howler monkeys woke us up most mornings which was a bit scary sounding. Long walk up/down to beach but doable and you definitely need a 4x4 vehicle to drive there. The staff was great including Chris and Andres. Best drinks we had on the whole trip. However our only complaint was that their hours were not great and they were closed a few times when we wete told they’d be open. No problem though as there were plenty of great restaurants and shops in walking distance. I’d highly recommend.

This is a unique place to stay in Manuel Antonio. A little but beautiful hotel lirerally in the middle of the jungle. Soacious rooms, friendly people, nice food and cleanliness. From our balcony we can watch monkeys and a sloth. Definitely a place to come!

We arrived at this hotel and was given the room on the top floor of the far building. Upon checking in was not aware we would be lugging our luggage up 6 sets of stairs to get there. After getting settled go to the restroom only to find it doesn’t flush. Try to rinse off after riding 5 hrs to get to Manual Antonio only to find no hot and a trickle or cold water to shower. I make them aware and was told to give them 2 hours. Go eat, come back, NOTHING FIXED! Ask again then ask if they have another room with hot water or working water or if they could accommodate us down the road. Reception checked the lower room to find it was the whole building with water issues…Was told give 10 min. to see about room at the other location, no phone call back! Had to call and ask reception, states my travel agency is going to handle it that their other hotel was full. My kids and I had no option as we started this at 4:30 it’s now 8:30pm. We ended up sleeping there, only to stay up with the busy traffic right outside the window until around 11pm! This place was a total nightmare to our trip! Finally, next day we did get new lodging arrangements. The boss on the line with the receptionist next day did state they wouldn’t refund the other 2 nights of our stay as well!

Our family had a lovely stay at Jungle Vista. The room was lovely, the staff were amazingly attentive, and they went out of their way to help us celebrate a milestone birthday ! It was a great home base in Manuel Antonio, within walking distance of restaurants, the beach, and activities.
