Planeta Sano Hotel

Nothing nicer than a great view, a friendly staff, a great breakfast and a spacious room. Close to perfect. The staff could not be more accommodating. Imagine waking up in a tropical forest overlooking the Pacific. Add a pool and a private balcony and you are in paradise.

This place is badly managed. There are wonderful helpful friendly people working there. Restaurant continually under staffed, one trying to do the work of 6. It's sad to watch. All prices are high which would not be terrible if service was 5 star. They were out of stock of avocados, yuca,grain bread and Corona beer! What? We had the nicer room for 4 nights so got to know and watch what was going on. Our bathroom was horrible. No opening windows,no fan, no counter or shelfs and 1 hook. Not practicle. For an eco friendly outfit, their toilet ran continually. Don't expect to see any animales birds etc... within the grounds as they have music blaring all day and evening. I would not recomend.

Don't go here unless it's the last room available. Bare bones. No hot water in my shower, but hot water in the sink. Lousy pillows, no key for the safe, no TV. The staff is nice but could not help with the hot water issue or the safe. And it's not cheap, 3 nights $800.00. So, don't do it unless you have no other choice.

We really enjoyed our stay at Planeta Sano. Everyone was super friendly, you can watch monkeys, macaws, agouti, and toucans from the hotel restaurant which is open-air and everyone is welcome to hang out there. Also breakfast is part of the package, so one tends to linger and enjoy! We really appreciated the simplicity of the space and ecological attention (easy to follow suggested steps), while also being laid back about it. Try the gallo pinto instead of an American breakfast and for sure enjoy the 1/2 price pina colladas between 4 and 7pm! Advice: 1. Ask lots of questions -- staff is very willing to share beach ideas, how to get laundry done there, where to look for the toucans or the tree in which the macaws are nesting, etc. 2. If driving to Manuel Antonio area, the turn into the lodge off the road is easy to miss, and the driveway itself has potholes; just be patient and careful.

Me encanta el lugar excelente servicio al cliente la comida es deliciosa la vista que tiene al mar es hermoso el ceviche delicioso después de la piscina las margaritas están para refrescar el paladar muy cerca del centro de Quepos lo cuál tiene todo a disposición
