B&B Saint Louis

We booked and paid for two days and left after one day...said enough yet ? Cleaning was non-existent - yet they leave an envelope for you to leave a tip - gall. Still soap scum in the shower from the previous guest. Stains on the sheets and pillow cases. None of this is exageration. Generally unkept as a BNB and the room was terrible. Lets not forget, they don't tell you they charge for parking but do, and don't tell you they will charge you 4% if you use a credit card, but do - everything should be clear upfront. The owner came up to our car when we got there and I thought he might have been homeless...he really needed a shower. I don't write bad reviews but this business is taking advantage of it's customers and deserves it. Overall nice people but remember this is only a cash cow for them...nothing more. See for yourself....

We loved our stay here! We were in Quebec City for Carnevale. We stayed at the B&B Saint Louis for four nights. What an incredible location on Rue St. Louis in the old city. We walked everywhere! The room was comfortable, the breakfasts yummy, and the welcome given us by the owners friendly and helpful. We were treated like family, and our hosts did everything they could to make sure we had a wonderful stay! We will definitely stay here again on our next trip to Quebec!

You can not believe the reviews. This place is terrible. People yes seem nice but the web site does not look at all like the B&B. Total misrepresentation…smells, very old, run-down and shared bath. Took my son there which was embarrassing to say the least. We would not stay and they would not refund the money. Lesson learned and hope we can help someone else out. We ended up staying in a wonderful place down the street at the same price. Do your research!

You could not ask for two more friendly and likeable hosts. They welcomed us into their house from the moment we arrived. Quebec City accommodation is expensive and this house is located only a couple of minutes walk from the heart of the old city. There are plenty of restaurants nearby, but as you might expect the main tourist areas are expensive. Our room in the house was smaller than we had hoped but it is clean and comfortable. A private bathroom was across the landing, but other rooms were ensuite. Breakfast is substantial, the menu changed every day and all hand made. All in all an enjoyable stay when you get over the shock of how expensive accommodation options are . This location does have a number of good features

This B&B is located inside the old Quebec, and it's location is the only one good thing about this place .The room is very dirty, it looks like it is never vacuumed when you enter the room the first time, It has a very bad smell. It looks like the bedding is from the 17th century - old and it doesn't smell nice.The bathroom has a dirty floor, dirty shower curtains and is extremely small.The breakfast is average and very small in proportion.They don't clean the room everyday.We stayed there three days and we had to ask them to please make the beds. They only have one large table for breakfast and everyone has to eat together.They rushed everyone to leave before finishing their breakfast as they had other guests arriving. They asked us to finish our breakfast in a hurry so that they could serve other guests. This hotel should be $70.00 not $200.00.Don’t stay here for you holiday.

Salouha & Ahmed sont des personnes d'une très grande gentillesse, toujours disponibles pour vous aider dans la recherche d'une bonne adresse. Vous vous sentez dans leur gîte comme chez vous avec la possibilité de prendre des petites-déjeuners variés, faits maison, de qualité ! Pour ma part, à chacune de mes visites de Québec, je réserve au B&B Saint Louis, idéalement placé au coeur de la vieille ville, à deux pas du Chateau Frontenac !
