What a gem of a place! Spacious, beautiful accommodation hosted by the wonderful, friendly owner Sophie. We also appreciated the original art on the walls. Great kitchen/dining space with everything you might need. Close to nice shopping area and lots of restaurants. Thank you!

Excellent location. Beautiful atmosphere with high ceilings, wood moldings, wood floors and a modern touch. Very bright with large windows. Very clean. Welcoming and helpful proprietor. Good restaurants, museum and parks nearby. Located within the charming old section of Quebec city.

Great location, super clean, wonderful proprietor. We stayed 6 nights while attending French school and thoroughly enjoyed it. We loved chatting with the friendly, kind, bilingual owner Sophie. She goes out of her way to help guests. Those kinds of interactions make such a difference! In addition to the large bedroom/bath you can use the huge kitchen and several additional seating areas.

Extremely comfortable B&B with a warm and gracious trilingual hostess who will help you improve your French if you ask! Outstanding location - an easy walk to the Plains of Abraham, old Quebec City, and numerous shops and restaurants on Cartier Street. It's nice to have access to a full kitchen if you don't feel like eating out.

This was my first time in Quebec City and I can't say enough about staying at Le Widor. The room was impeccably clean and extremely comfortable. The location is perfect.. just steps from Rue Cartier with dozens of restaurants, shops, and cafe choices and just a short walk from Old Quebec. Sofie did an excellent job of making me feel welcomed and at home. I would definitely stay there again!

From Beginning to End staying at Le Widor met and exceeded all our expectations! The service, cleanliness, value room, wonderful! The location - great, not a far walk everywhere and everything you'd want to see.

We had a lovely 3-night stay at Le Widor. The home is charming and very clean, and breakfast was very tasty. The neighborhood is perfect - near the Plains of Abraham and close enough that we could walk to the Citadel and Old Quebec. It is a nice quiet residential neighborhood with many restaurants and shops within walking distance, located away from the touristy areas but still within walking distance (for us) of the local sites. Best of all is the proprietor, Sophie, who gave us a map and orientation when we checked in, and who is very warm and personable. We would happily stay here again if we come back to Quebec City.

After a 7 day Boston to Quebec City cruise at sea, we checked in to The Widor! What was a perfect trip was topped off with 2 days of perfect hospitality by Sophie and her staff. The Widor was located centrally to everything. The furnishings and feel of the environment was excellent all around and the staff as well! We highly recommend The Widor!

Le Widor is a splendid b&b and Sophie is a wonderful host whose advice on what to see and do in Quebec City and where to eat made the visit much more interesting and educational and fun. The location is excellent to walk to the old city, parks, museums and historic sites, and also well served by public transportation if the weather doesn’t cooperate. The breakfast was different each day and delicious every day. I plan to visit again.
