Gold Hotel Quba

The hotel is located outside the new centre on a maine street, but behind another building so you hardly hear the noise from the traffic on the main street. The hotel has a parking lot in front of the hotel, very comfortable when you arrive by rental car. We had room 5 in a corridor on the ground floor on the front side of the hotel. A large room with good beds. The breakfast was in a separate restaurant in a kind of courtyard, behind the reception. A next time we would ask a room on the first floor or anyway a room far away from the reception. Because no sound absorbing materials are used in the building and the corridor with the rooms was not separated with a door from the reception, we were obliged to hear all evening and night the conversations and (very loud) telephone ringtone of the reception. At the breakfast personal was more busy with the mobile phone than the needs of guests.

Stayed here en-route to Xinaliq village. Well appointed room in the new extension. Only fault was the all night corridor lighting that lit my bedroom all night. Staff were so helpful and drove us up the road in the evening a few miles to a local restaurant and home again a couple of hours later.
