Fantastic resort exceptional service wheelchair friendly. Staff can’t do enough for you In particular Soobash who looked after us in the evening nothing was too much trouble for him. We will recommend this gem to lots of people and will return here Thank you

Our day package at Ambre has been a memorable one. It started with a very warm welcome from Samantha, Aza was very delicate to us when selecting our drinks. He gave value added service by advising which drink we may not like. Then Ketty from the pool bar added in giving us a 5 star service, making us feel at ease. Atish also ensured that our drinks were served promptly even the last one. The food was tasty at the main buffet restaurant. However, the variety was bit lean. Tea time was good with some sweet & salty snacks. I overall an experience to remember and repeat

Just returned from wonderful 7 day holiday at the Ambre (29th Sept - 5th Oct 2024). We can only echo the other recent reviews in that this is an exceptional Hotel & Spa and a perfect break for those seeking a relaxing holiday, either as a couple or as a group. We had a Deluxe Beach Room which had fantastic sea views with ample sun loungers just metres away from the beach. A special mention has to go to Chris (he will find you before you finish your first drink!). He offers numerous trips and a must is the 5 Island Boat Trip. What an amazing day this was and we thoroughly enjoyed it and met some fellow passengers who were great fun the whole day too! We opted for the larger Catamaran option (with the selling point being the on-board fully functional toilet - yes, people of a certain age will really appreciate this, especially and the drinks are free flowing all day!!). Chris also arranged for us a private taxi for a trip over to the west coast and down to Chamarel and the National Park. Our taxi driver was Vikash who was great company and told us all about this wonderful island during our trip. We must add that both trips were great value for money and a lot cheaper than the tour company/hotel offerings. Overall this place is idyllic and one to definitely return to in the future.

This was our third stay at Ambre. We were in room 510 with a beautiful view from the balcony. The staff at Ambre always go above & beyond to make you happy & have a comfortable stay. Our housekeeping lady Gaya kept our room immaculately clean & always had a smile. The mini bar was topped up every day without fail. Breakfast at Indigo is amazing, so much choice & something for everyone. For our lunch we spent most of our time at La Plague, mostly for the location being on the beach & the food choices. We found Indigo evenings to be a bit hit & miss, we feel there may have been not enough staff to deal with the volume of guests on some occasions. This caused a few issues such as no plates, no spoons & empty food pans. However whenever you have any issues a member of staff would do all they could to help sort it out. We had a meal at Dolce Vita which was delicious & an evening meal at La Plage which was easily the most enjoyable of our stay. A massive thank you must go to Jay & Jaeree on the beach. These guys go out of their way to give you the most relaxed holiday experience & have the most respect for all of the guests. They are very attentive & work tirelessly. We thank all the beach staff for all the added extra services like sunglass cleaning & the lovely fruit kebabs. Overall our stay once again was very enjoyable & I'm sure we will be back!

We have just stayed for nearly a fortnight at the Ambre Hotel and have had a fantastic time, the food is wonderful and there is always something lovely to eat with great variety especially the seafood at la plage and the facilities are all lovely.But by far their most important asset and the thing that would bring us back again is their happy, smiling, attentive staff, nothing is too much trouble for them. From the receptionist who saved the day by changing our room on day one. When we realised my poor walking was going to be a problem. To the hardworking groundspeople ( the gardens are gorgeous!), cleaners, bar staff and Deena. But the three that made are holiday are Anisha, Sindy and Lena. Who were all such natural, kind and caring people.
