Clean, comfortable and affordable, also within walking distance of numerous historical attractions in Quanzhou such as Guanyue Temple and Qingjing Mosque. Strongly recommended.

I’ve been traveling for weeks throughout China and I can’t tell you enough how wonderful this hotel was. The room was spacious and gave me space to breathe; the shower’s water pressure was great and the shower itself has a door as well as shampoo, body wash, and conditioner. The bed was soft and comfortable; I slept so soundly. The absolute gem of this hotel was that it had a washing machine (with detergent!) and dryer (as well as lines for hanging up and air drying). If you climb Qingyuanshan here and are drenched in sweat from head to toe, and you have an early flight or train to catch the next day, there’s nothing better than having worry-free clean clothes. The alternative is taking wet and/or smelly clothes on to the next location (which likely won’t have free laundry amenities). I would most definitely stay again at this hotel and revisit this UNESCO city showcasing China’s multicultural and religious trading hub of the past. Thank you, Tongban Boutique Hotel!

Location is fantastic. Right next to the ancient city. Room was nice and clean. The view not great but other than that a great place to stay in Quanzhou

Recommended to go. For foreigners, use an international adapter since they only have the Chinese one.

Service is very nice, room is clean and look new. Really recommended if you come to Quanzhou because the location is near the Old Town and also close to the bus stop so it's pretty convenience to go anywhere.

overall, happy with hotel. location is good, near to main tourist spots. hotel is clean and tidy, looks new. room ok for price. food around surrounding area as good. staff are friendly and helpful, generous with tips on local attraction.

Very clean and comfortable. My bed was very big, took up most of the room but it wasn’t very confined/claustrophobic. The bed was very comfortable, sheets were clean and new, but I did find some hairs underneath the bedsheet so that wasn’t so great… the aircon was strong (probably the strongest I’ve encountered in my years of travelling) and overall very good. The bathroom looks a bit worn out though, some mould here and there but nothing too serious. Occasionally the ventilators in the bathroom will “leak” cigarette smell from other rooms when not switched on, so I was unlucky that I had to smell secondhand smoke from time to time.

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this hotel! First, the staff upgraded my room for free. Second, the bathroom is spacious with separate shower facilities, toilet and wash basin. They even have a heater in the shower compartment to keep you from the cold when showering! The room is clean and quiet. You can ask for more water for free if required and there’s a bakery stall beside the hotel which sells bakery and coffee combo at a really cheap price for those who stay in this hotel. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

I must say this hotel booking is the best decision that I made for this trip. The hotel location is so convenient that we could easily get to most of scenic spots. There are also many good restaurants on the street next to the hotel. The hotel is a new one so the room is quite clean. Services from the hotel staff are also very friendly and timely.

This is a new hotel located in the Fengze area. You can take the bus to the main attractions if you are not keen to walk, the bus station is just less than 100m away from the hotel. There are a lot of food options nearby. The room is small but fine for solo traveller, in-room amenities are sufficient. The staff are very friendly and courteous, they provided excellent service. The WiFi connection was not good, but the staff solved the problem as soon as possible and offered a room upgrade for compensation. I would greatly recommend this hotel!
