Best place for family vaccination. Some pools are heated in the winter period. Good service all over. Very clean pools. Good variation in the buffet. Shuttle to privat beach. Very big thanks from Denmark (princess, boss and big boss) to some good and friendly service personal on the resort. Zain Youssef cleaning room 5228. We spent a week with my mother and sister at the Aqua Blu Hotel, we are very satisfied with the vacation and will definitely visit the hotel again, the territory is very large, the room was clean and beautiful, the staff is very nice. There are a lot of activities for both children and adults. The animation team was great, especially the animator Martin who invited people to take part in everything all the time and dealt with the guests and was very friendly, it was a very nice vacation, thank you!

We had a great time at Albatros Aqua Blu, it was an amazing holiday in Sharm El Sheikh. The aquapark is big for people of all ages. It was crazy fun. We had a really good time with friends. The animation team is just amazing. Great service, nice and friendly. I highly recommend this place.

We spent 7 nights at the Aqua Blu, as a group of 5 both adults and children. This is our second visit to the hotel and my 9th visit to Sharm, on arrival both rooms were upgraded which was lovely we stayed in room 8118. Our rooms were comfortable, the domestic tidied our room each day and occasionally left towel animals much to our daughter’s delight. The food is fine, plentiful and you will always be able to find something to eat. The waiting staff are amazing, so lovely and attentive - always greeting you with a smile and a high five for the kids. Ahmed Salah always greeted us with drinks at dinner time and never let our glasses go empty, he would give balloons to the children and make napkin hearts, swans and flowers - this man is AMAZING and is the true definition of amazing customer service! He is a credit to the hospitality industry. The salon staff have changed since last year and are not as friendly their quality of work is shocking in comparison - this year my daughter had her hair braided again and 2 days later it was falling out. We had to go back and have the braids re-done the staff did so but begrudgingly. The sales team for the spa are lovely, great people and they don’t force anything on you. Ahmed Gahmal, Ali and Aloe are AMAZING!!! The lifeguards are a dream, so lovely chatty and kind with all the children - you can really tell that they all love their jobs. There is NO English entertainment, it is all purely based for the Russian guests, Paulo and Billie were the only ones from the animation team who spoke to us and checked in and chatted throughout the day. The others i wouldn’t even be able to tell you their names, one girl would just look at you and walk off - not very welcoming at all! We used the hotel taxi service, not from inside the reception- walk up to the gate and it’s around 50% cheaper from what the quote you inside the reception they will also provide you with a phone and you call them 20 minutes before your required pick up. I paid the following; Old market £5 return Soho £15 return Nama bay £10 return We as a family really love this hotel and hoped it would be our get away every year but changes need to be made in order for it to stand out above the rest in Sharm, it is such a shame that a few minor details really let it down.

The good: * Nice hotel, slides and pools are brilliant especially for the kids. Always clean too. We often used the aqua park next door for the more extreme slides and the wave rider. * Room was nice, sliding doors to separate us from the kids. Always kept clean and tidy with the occasional towel creations. Only downside to the room was the TV only had one English channel which was BBC news which is just depressing. * Staff were great, thanks to Ali Attia in the smaller restaurant where we went for breakfast everyday. He always greeted us and bought over drinks, he even decorated the table on my birthday. Really lovely, hardworking man. * Location - 20 mins or so from airport, taxis always outside the hotel and cheap to go to local shops, bars and restaurants etc. * Spa - was a bit run down and dated but my treatment was lovely. The bad: * The food! We found it to be really poor, very repetitive and often not warm. The main restaurant, the smaller one and italian all served the same. Lunch at club mac (pool bar) was the same burgers, pizza, chips etc everyday which was fine for the kids but watching the birds pec at the pizzas about to be cooked did put us off eating anymore. We ended up eating out every night for the second week. * Evening entertainment wasn't great. Most of it not in English. We ended up not bothering. Overall a lovely hotel and facilities and we did enjoy ourselves but we personally wouldn't go back.
