The hotel Gorgonia Beach Resort***** is located around 48 km from the city centre. There is a shuttle between the hotel and the airport (for a fee). The beach at your holiday destination is patrolled by a lifeguard. Here, there are cushions, sun umbrellas and beach towels available. Cold drinks are served at the beach bar. The hotel has a 24h reception (check-in is possible around the clock), a lobby bar, Wi-Fi (for a fee), internet access (for a fee), a shop, a boutique, cash machine, a hairdresser, a jacuzzi, showers and changing rooms, a first aid kit as well as parking spaces. In the outdoor area of the property you will find a seasonally heated pool (open all year), where sun loungers, sun umbrellas and pool towels are available for free. Just came back after (another) 4 wonderful weeks in Gorgonia. It really feels like coming home, since we were there also in december and february. Beautiful room, amazing staff ("abo Treka - welcome back'), food superb as ever and lots of positive new developments. The hotel is spacious, always sunbeds available near the beach and the pool. The garden is a miracle; so beautiful. I have only 1 suggestion: please remove the COVID stickers in the restaurant ! They remind me of a difficult period. Suggestion: try the salt cave: it is a special experience; massages good as always. TGI diving very professional and nice trips (Abu Ghusun wreck) not only the boys from Qina but from Qus as well :-) Finally a shoutout to 2 staffmembers who made my holiday unforgettable: Musti (con pollo) who is always ready for a talk or a tennis match and Abdallah: always trying to beat me at darts and he did so too ! I can't wait to meet you all again in october and then in december again !!!!!

It is very nice. The people are very very friendly and i had a great time. The pool is very big and the beach is beautiful. The food is also very good and the rooms are clean!!

Beautiful hotel with great staff and wide range of quality activities and services. Tasty and varied cuisine. Extremely well maintained and kept rooms and buildings. Impressive garden, huge pools and welcoming diving center. We highly recommend !

I spent €2500 on what I hoped would be a relaxing, snorkel-rich holiday at Gorgonia Beach Resort – unfortunately, it didn’t live up to expectations. The biggest issue is the location: the resort is extremely far from Marsa Alam airport, and with flight schedules and transfers, we only arrived at the hotel around midnight. On the way back, we got home at 2 AM, completely exhausted. This level of travel fatigue for a one-week stay is not acceptable for a supposedly premium resort. The reef in front of the hotel is disappointing – wide but monotonous, with few fish and little colour. We had hoped for vibrant underwater life, and perhaps the chance to see dolphins, but no luck. The one highlight was swimming with a turtle in shallow water – a beautiful moment, but too brief to make up for the rest. The resort itself is average. The beach is nice, and the room was comfortable and clean. However, most services seem to rely on tips to function properly, which left a sour taste. The food was okay but uninspired, and the entertainment staff felt distant and unengaged. Shops inside the resort are very small and overpriced. The swimming pool is basic, and lacks waterslides – which was disappointing, especially if you’re travelling with kids (my 12-year-old was definitely underwhelmed). We had also hoped to visit Abu Dabbab, but it was too far for a short trip, and not offered in any easy way. Final verdict: If you’re looking for a peaceful escape with low expectations and don’t mind long transfers, it might work. But if you’re hoping for top snorkeling, lively atmosphere, and value for your money – look elsewhere. I personally won’t return to the Red Sea anytime soon.

Superb animation with a lot of activities through the day,excellent snorkeling possibilities in july with a plethora of different fishesh to see even from the beach.The beach is very organized with various place to play beach volley and darts.

I had a fantastic experience at this hotel. The rooms were beautifully clean, and the entire property was perfectly maintained. Everywhere I went, cleanliness was top-notch. The food was absolutely delicious, with a variety of flavorful options to enjoy. The only downside was the damaged coral reefs, which was truly a shame. However, I want to express my gratitude to the animation team—despite the fact that there were very few children at the resort, they danced with my daughter every evening at the mini disco, making her stay truly special.

The hotel liked much, very good price-quality ratio! Very good service at all places, starting from food service to housekeeping and animation team.Staff not focused on tips, but very big pleasure to give one. Special greetings for hotel GM-very smiled, polite and helpful person. The hotel has amazing greenery, very well-kept and manicured! Every night there are some animations. All inclusive local alco. Make some coctails as well. Our stay was in the middle of march 25. Perfect holidays, happy to be there-strongly recommend!
