Tui Magic Life Kalawy

We visited in may for the second time. We recommended this hotel to people near home, they booked and went to Kalaway and had just as much fun as we did as a family. So much so, we're returning in may next year with the people with recommended this hotel to, alongside my mum and her partner. This will be the 3rd time visiting kalawy. We cannot fault this impeccable hotel. The variety of food is AMAZING, so much choice, accommodating for everyone. The cleanliness is spotless! The gardeners taking good pride in their grounds work daily and always so polite. The activities are endless but also there's an adult only pool area if you just want to relax. The snorkling off the pier is a must do, the sea life is truly magical to witness. The unlimited FREE waters ports is an absolute bonus, we enjoyed the paddlesboards more often than we probably should have. The reception team were fantastic, go above and beyond to make your stay welcoming and unforgettable. The entertainment is of great variety. We can't wait to return again next may, we're keeping it a surprise from the children until the day, otherwise we'll have endless questions about the water slides, which they loved and the delicious bar food that's served from 10am onwards. This hotel and the staff are truly remarkable. Highly recommend to anyone that's thinking of visiting.

This was our second visit to Kalawy and it really is a home away from home. The resort looks like something straight out of a travel magazine. The gardeners do the most fantastic job and are always so friendly when you walk by them! The housekeepers and cleaners never stop working! Again they always greet you with a friendly hello! The bar staff and waiters are amazing, they again work so hard remembering drink orders and often used to bring me a tea without me even asking. The lifeguards are simply the best I’ve ever known at a resort. When there were minor accidents they were quickly on hand and fantastic at cheering up upset children. They honestly deserve more credit than I could ever give them in a review. Ali was as amazing as last year and was always ready with our towels and a smile for our daughter! The food is the best I have ever had at an all inclusive resort. The chefs are incredibly talented and again super friendly! The restaurant staff always had our drink orders and a high chair ready for us and nothing was too much trouble for them! Lena from guest services was here again and it made us so happy to catch up with her!! She really is fantastic at her job! The children’s club was amazing and although our daughter is too young currently our friends took their 4 year old and she couldn’t get enough of going and cried when we left. The heated pools were brilliant for the children and I loved a swim in the cold water pool. It was very refreshing. Creative station was amazing and we painted our own t shirts as souvenirs. Highlights was the sundowner on the beach. The silent disco, the afternoon pool party with the family bubbles. Sadly we missed the foam party this year but that’s amazing too! I could tell you the positives about this hotel over and over again but honestly you should just book it!!

This was my 2nd time at this resort. What a great place! The activities keep high standards and everybody's nice to you. I recommend all fitness classes . Aqua cycling was my favorite! The food is good and there are a lot of options for everybody. They even have gluten free bread now( and a couple of vegan options). The spa ladies are super nice and the quad tours( Chill tours) are good. Chill tours' Body and Koma were really funny! If you like hiking, I recommend the Nordic walking lesson in the desert. It was tough, but good exercise. All in all , a perfect holiday

Just returned from an 8 day stay. Had an amazing time. Don't understand the negative reviews. We found all the staff to be really friendly and helpful. When we got there we were given a double room, but asked to be moved to a twin. Reception sorted it without any problems. The hotel is in the middle of nowhere, but there's so much to do, it really doesn't matter. There is something for everyone, from chilling at the relaxing pool, getting involved at the activity pool, snorkeling off the jetty or paddling in the lagoon, to name but a few. Advice for anyone who wants to snorkel, if you go down and there's a red flag, check back later in the day, if conditions change for the better the flag will change. There is a few cat's, but unless you are absolutely terrified of them, I wouldn't let that put you off. As long as someone in your group is ok to shoe them away they should leave you alone. I think maybe the hotel team are missing a trick with the cat's. I know if there was a way to sponsor the cat's, and get maybe a few photos sent every few months, I'd be happy to sign up. We went out on a fabulous boat trip with the guys at Chill tours. There's a few different companies that do trips straight from the hotel ( by that I mean, they only go from this hotel, so no collecting guests from other hotels) they'll be a trip to suit everyone. We didn't go to the welcome meeting with Tui, and I don't think you need it, all the information you need is in the app, or you can simply just ask any of the staff questions. This complex has got to be one of my favourites. We arrived late, closed to midnight after travelling for around 15 hours with 2 small children, the receptionist immediately took our bags and told us to go get food before we check in, there was a generous spread laid out for late arrivals. Once checked in we were taken to the room, which was immaculate, spacious and amazing Aircon which is needed in Egypt. The mini bar was fully stocked, kettle and tea / coffee filled everyday. Few highlights.. Cleaners: they cannot work hard enough, everyday the room was cleaned to a very high standard, never did we have any issues and the children loved the towel animals left daily. Pools: There are 4 pools I believe, 1 with water slides, again immaculate, there was once an incident in the pool and the life guards immediately cleared the pool to ensure everyone was kept safe. All pools are a good size and we never had a problem with sunbeds. Food The food was incredible, having a particularly fussy child there was always something to eat, for the rest of the family the Food was certainly a highlight for is, there was so much good food, always fresh and there were chefs at every station ensuring the food was on a continuous loop so never standing for long. Every day was a different theme. The staff Couldn't do enough for you and never expected anything in return, if you do want to tip I recommend American dollars or euros, preferably not coins as its useless to them but the start are honestly grateful for anything even chocolate bars! The beach The was by far the highlight for us We did watersports everyday, surfed, paddle boarding and kayaking as well as diving from the jetty.. If your allergic to cats be aware there are a lot of them here but they certainly are not a problem, the hotel looks after them well. If anything it adds character to the hotel. I don't have a negative thing to say about this holiday it was simply 5* I will certainly be returning
