I recently stayed at Ramada Hotel and found it very convenient, especially with the free shuttle service provided. The shuttle runs from Jinbu Station to the hotel, as well as from the hotel to Yongpyong and Alpensia Ski Resorts. Just make sure to check the shuttle schedule in advance —it's available on their website or at the reception counter. The breakfast selection was decent. What I loved most was the convenience of the in-house ski rental shop. We could pick up our ski equipment and suits early and have it ready in our room, making it super easy to head straight to the ski resort the next day. One area for improvement would be promoting other attractions in Pyeongchang, such as ice sculpture shows (if available) or other unique activities, to make the experience even more memorable. Overall, it was a great stay, and I’d recommend it for anyone visiting the area.

Fantastic accommodation and convenient with what is needed!

We stayed at the Ramada while on a family ski trip to Mona Yongpyong Ski Resort.  The hotel was very convenient and was a nice place to stay during our trip.  Only really had two complaints about the experience.  (1) We booked a family room that said it would accommodate up to 4 people (we have 4 in our family).  However, they only provide bedding for 3 people, so you have to pay a nightly fee for bedding for the 4th person (didn't realize this until we checked in).  If the room can accommodate up to 4 people, then bedding should be provided up to 4 people, especially when the hotel knew we had 4 people from the time of booking.  (2) The breakfast is super convenient as there isn't much open/available in the area in the morning time.  However, it is very expensive, so be prepared!  Even with the hotel guest discount (10%) we still paid over 90,000 KRW each day for breakfast!

Nice location, good for travel by car, many restaurants nearby, easy to drive there, very big hotel,

The hotel is located uphill, excellent for a family vacation with a car. Public transportation is limited and taxi could be called by the front desk. Most restaurants were not open during my stay. The room is clean and the view and air are excellent. Off-season price is not bad.

Bye bye @Ramada Hotel & Suites by Wyndham Gangwon Pyeongchang (nice and quiet) but the service so so only.. (I ask the guy on the day of check 4Dec23 in if there is any food around, the reception told me no food, then basement do have convenient stores and some restaurants) Then when I was waiting for the shuttle bus, he told me to just wait but actually I have to walk outside so I miss the shuttle bus (maybe my bad that he don’t understand so cannot really communicate well). Never mind it is a blessing in disguise cos there is a nice sauna that cost 3 of us only KRW 24k, so we enjoyed the sauna instead. 2nd day, the lady at reception is so much better, she told me to walk outside to take her shuttle bus. The rental service is very good but need to carry all the heavy ski equipments ourselves to the shuttle bus . Shuttle bus is first come first serve, once full, they don’t care. The shuttle bus drop off is very far walk with all the heavy equipment from the main ski area. I am so thankful to Eelyn Hoe for helping me. So maybe tip is rent a car or choose a resort just next to the ski place! Yeongpyeong Ski Resort

Lovely location. Room is very spacious with high ceiling and balcony, but sadly the mattress are saggy, too old and I believe they need replacement, we booked two rooms, both my friend and me weren’t able to sleep at all.

It was the only available property when we were looking for a place to stay. It doesnt disappoint indeed. Minus points are its approximity to the ski resort. Shuttle bus for drop off and pick up ia provided. Just make sure you check the time table.

The hotel is new and very clean. All the rooms are suites having a loft for luggage or ski gear etc. Bathroom is big and nice. Balcony is a plus. Location is 10 min from the slopes via shuttle bus which runs twice daily. There are 3 restaurants and a coffee shop and some other function rooms. There is also a ski rental shop in the lobby that gives big discounts on rental and ski lifts which we highly recommend. Service is good. The only downsize for us was that the room temperature was too high and could not be adjusted in time for it to cool down for the night. We called the reception every day to ask them to lower down the floor heating but the temperature was still very high, making it difficult to sleep comfortably. Therefore in the first night we opened the balcony door and as a result I caught a cold that lasted for the rest of the holiday. Overall it is a good place to stay.
