What a chilled and great spot to start our holiday. The pool is really clean and there is a good jetty directly onto the lagoon to watch the sun set. We didn’t kite surf as that was not the purpose of our visit, but the wind would have been perfect for it! The Bar and restaurant were good with tasty home cooked Sri Lankan food and juices. The rooms were clean with good AC and the shower was hot. Agash,Sajid and their team were extremely helpful and engaged with us. They took us to get a fishing rod and were generally extremely helpful. They also gave us good local recommendations and played cricket with our boys. The grounds are beautiful as well! Come here, relax, kite surf and enjoy your stay in a relaxed beautiful environment!

The staff is incredibly friendly and accommodating, always willing to go the extra mile to ensure guests have a great stay. Best hotel in kalpitiya, boasting stunning lagoon views. This enchanting retreat offers an ideal setting for a family vacation. The chalets are impeccably kept, and the culinary delights, particularly best seafood resturant in kalpitiya; receives our hearty approval. The staff is exceptionally warm and attentive. Our sincere appreciation goes to Mr. Dileep, who provided invaluable support throughout our stay. Their rates are undeniably reasonable, making the entire experience truly worthwhile.

I planned to spend one week here, but ended up staying for two. The atmosphere is great and the staff is so friendly. The pool is a really nice feature and there are always the most incredible sunsets. There are lots of great birds here that can be spotted from inside the resort and also from kayaking around the lagoon. The food here is also sooo good (especially if you love seafood/ want traditional Sri Lankan food)! I highly recommend staying here next time you are in Sri Lanka :)

I had a great experience at Valampuri Resort. I felt at home, all staff are very friendly and always willing to help. There are several activities such as kayaking, slackline, stand up paddle or kitesurfing (the most famous). All the traditional Sinhalese food that I tasted in the hotel restaurant were delicious. The place is very beautiful and the pool has an ideal temperature and the sunset from there is incredible.
