I recently stayed at the Blue Diamond Hotel, a SeleQtions property by Taj, for one night and two days. SeleQtions hotels are known for their unique identity, location, history, theme, and cultural significance, with the aim of celebrating individuality and offering memorable experiences. However, I found that this particular property fell short in delivering on some of these promises. Pros: Location: The hotel is conveniently located just 3 km from Pune station and 6 km from other key attractions. Staff: The staff were very polite and professional, ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out experience. Rooms: I booked a premier room, which was neat, clean, and well-maintained. The overall ambiance was pleasant. Service: The service was efficient and added to the comfort of my stay. Cons: Cultural Representation: While the hotel is marketed as a SeleQtions property, I didn’t find it to reflect Pune's rich traditions, local culture, or architectural uniqueness. Food: This was the biggest disappointment of my stay. Pune is known for its vibrant and flavorful local cuisine, but the food served at the hotel was basic and lacked the essence of regional flavors. Both dinner and breakfast were underwhelming and failed to meet expectations. Final Thoughts: Although I enjoyed my stay overall, especially due to the excellent service and comfortable rooms, the food experience did not align with the hotel’s promise of celebrating local culture. Next time, I would prefer dining outside to truly experience Pune’s culinary delights. So i have given one point less for food.

I had a fantastic experience during my stay, beginning with a warm welcome from Mr. Chetan at the front desk. Pratikha and Aishwarya provided consistent assistance throughout, always willing to help. Mr. Charles and Mr. Nilesh served with genuine smiles and exceptional courtesy, making the stay even more enjoyable. The housekeeping team was quick and thorough with their cleaning routine, ensuring everything was in perfect order. At the gym, Mr. Mahesh was prompt in accommodating my sauna requests. Overall, it was a truly relaxing stay, and I highly recommend it. I look forward to visiting again.

A special word of praise for Mr. Ashok Thokal of the housekeeping department for his sheer dedication and hard work, all with a smiling face. Just want to add a few points about the room. I think a couple of extra pillows, a little basic silverware, hand towels for the second washroom should all be basic requirements for a presidential suite besides the fruit bowl with fruits that looked sick and pale and hadn't been changed in ages. In spite of booking a smoking room have to always ask for an ashtray and a matchbox. Its an immense pain to find basic requirements not provided on checking in to the room and having to ask. There wasn't even an iron/ironing board in the room. Both the set top boxes had a loose connection causing a stutter in the picture. Even the side table lamp could have an accessible switch, because it is of no use to have a lamp if one has to break his or her back every time when switching it on. If the hotel has to provide a bottle of wine it should be in the room before the guest checks in as it is supposed to be a welcome gesture and maybe not something with a shelf life more than a year past.

This property has endured decades of the change that pune city has brought upon itself! Pristine prime location and connectivity is a huge plus. Once a crown jewel of Pune, this diamond is in urgent need of a thorough polishing! We had to upgrade to a suite after check in as the room category we had booked gave us motel vibes! The suite was comfortable but borderline luxury given then IHCL inception. The outstanding part was the manager, front office staff, resturant staff and the security staff who were always tidy and courteous. The smile on their face never wore off! The poolside breakfast was very good and so was the staff serving it. I would love to see the management taking a note of the current situation and plan a major overhaul to make this jewel a shining diamond like it deserves! Eagerly awaiting to visit you soon, in better time!

We visit here multiple times. Almost once in 6months. This time it was my anniversary. But every time the service is just wow. Ms. Shehnaz and Ms.Alvina at reception are very prompt and with a cute smile. Mr. Bablu at the latitude is an amazing person, he takes care of each and every customer personally, no compromise. My 6 year old just wants to visit here for the lovely buffet breakfast and lunch served here..must try. And above all Mr. Chetan, perfect leader, this *** is so quick in decisions which will surely please the customers and they are sure to visit again. Thank you all for the lovely memories.

It's always homely feeling to stay at your property. I would like to specially mention about Mr Chinmay who always extends exemplary support and warm welcome with extra bit of enthusiasm every time I stay at your property, the same is unforgettable. Receptionist Ms Priyanka has been great support during stay. Mr Ashok room attendant had made my stay comfortable. Looking forward to join you soon.

Great food - decent rooms. Started there for 2 weeks, decent room service, good gym and amazing staff. Decent ambiance and location is nice as well Rooms were okay but the food was amazing 10/10 would recommend. If you're planning to visit Pune and you're most likely to visit kharadi, do consider this one, offers decent p2s.

Excellent vibes in the hotel. The checking process was good. We had taken the presidential room and had an excellent time there. The staff was courteous and nice. I would definitely recommend the hotel to anyone who would like to have a quick stay.

Awesome experience with Blue diamond hotel. We were there for 15 days & we really enjoyed & there Management & all facilities were awesome, the food was great, the Manager was too helpful he helped us & made things best for us, if you're planning to stay in this hotel you can choose blue diamond Pune.
