Plus Fariones Suite Hotel

This has to be the second most beautiful hotel in the resort. Having been to the island before and cycled through every beach resort Porta del carmen has the most night life and day life. The hotel is on the beach, separated by a beautiful glass screen with a glass door access. The whole hotel is immaculate The rooms are very spacious with a lower lounge area and balcony. The staff are lovely and friendly Nothing too much trouble. My only criticism would be the slow lifts, the lack of supervision in the restaurant meaning tables haven’t been cleared and reset for the diners. The food choice was varied but could have been better. All in all Relaxing, a great pool area, beach and plenty to do. The walks, cycling shops all start within metres of the reception. Shopping centres is just across the road with a lovely coffee shop on the first floor, everything is very convenient.

Well what can I say,the rooms were spotlessly clean,airy and comfortable,we had a broken tap in the bathroom,before we even thought to complain about it,it was FIXED,the view from the balcony was amazing,the staff went above and beyond with their help and service, Special mention must go to, Alba,an amazing young waitress who went out of her way to help,and had an amazing sense of humour and a wonderful smile for everyone. Percy,the Hot place chef,who after just 2 visits knew exactly what steak I liked,and just how I liked it,(medium rare). Riccardo,the bar tender who knew the drinks we enjoyed,and when I took the glasses back,knew to give me glasses of ice for the room without being asked. Pablo always had a smile on his face when he serving you. This was simply an excellent hotel and had amazing Staff The entertainment we did watch was excellent,

We are no strangers to the suite hotel fariones, having come to puerto del carmen 6 times (including this visit), one trip in 2018, being for our honeymoon and this year's trip in 2024, after the hotel was newly refurbished. (We stayed in the sister hotel next store in 2021 and it doesn't have a patch on the suite hotel ). We were so excited to be back in lanzarote, after a 2 year break to different places, after we had last been in 2021. I.e. we stayed in the sister hotel. So it was magical to be back and to stay in such a wonderful hotel. We had emailed before and asked if are room would be the best sea view and similar to the floor and room, we'd stayed in previously. We always know we will get the best customer service, as upon arrival we were so happy it was taken note of and we were astounded by the wonderful view from our 5th floor room. (I won't say the number, as my husband and I don't want to give it away so easily ). The moment we walked into the suite hotel room, it was spacious, clean, had a mini kitchen, living room and tv, large bathroom and then a separate big bedroom with a spacious wardrobe and tv also in the room. The breakfast was also amazing and has been improved upon, I think, since we last stayed. It has everything you could want and is on from 7.30 till 10.30am. You can also have a lovely omelette made fresh, which is lovely. The room could do with some plates, cutlery and an iron, but other than that it was perfect. We also had lunch on the terrace of the pool bar and the lunches are lovely as well. I recommend the plus fariones sandwhich (club sandwich). The service can be a little slow sometimes and we did have a mix up with an extra drink being added to our bill, as we had ordered from one person and it took 10 minutes waiting, so I just went up and ordered directly at the bar. There is also an onsite gym facility which my husband availed of and can keep one ticking over should they need it! The bedroom itself was so comfortable and the beds, so much so, that we both slept like we were at home! The staff throughout our whole stay were so friendly, warm and welcoming and whenever you have a question or a query, they are there to help. Shout out to the pool bar staff, Romero, Laura and our main, man Milton! - always smiling and so friendly. Also to the two lovely gentleman at the desk, (Samuel is the only name I caught) and also the lovely lady, who checked us out. Even checking out it's great, as we had an evening flight, so we could check and see if we could stay in our room. We couldn't, but if not, it was no problem, as they provide you with a complimentary room to shower and change before you leave. Just ask the day before you leave about the above. They also booked a transfer mini coach for us which is €30, as they advised that the taxis are sometimes late and has caused stress for them and the guests. This is beautifully appointed , modern , light and airy hotel in a prime beachfront location between the tacky end of the strip and the old town. We are currently staying in a spacious fourth floor suite with lovely views over the pool and beach. The suite has a kettle and microwave but no tea or coffee ingredients or cutlery . What’s the point? There is a decent breakfast selection unless you like a cooked breakfast. The food is barely warm. I have politely mentioned this on two occasions to the restaurant manager. On the first, he grunted, shrugged his shoulders and walked in the opposite direction. On the second, he briefly tapped the beans dish with his finger and nodded his satisfaction. No sign of a food thermometer. The hotel advises that reservation of sunbeds is prohibited when, in fact, it is actively encouraged. When I pointed the surfeit of towels versus people he nodded and smiled “reserved “ before pointing us in the direction of less desirable locations. The pool bar is pleasant but there is a tendency for bar staff to go missing. This isn’t the worse experience we’ve ever had but would we return? Only at the invitation of the management to inspect the required improvements.

The hotel was fantastic it’s right on the beach it’s close to every and it’s quite, you turn left to the old town n right to the new town, it was clean and comfortable the staff were great, we had B&B the breakfast was very good with lots to choose from , would recommend this hotel highly

From start to finish this was a wonderful holiday from checking in to checking out. Glass of wine from staff on check in,in a hotel in a wonderful location and spotlessly clean. Food was very nice with plenty to choose from (evening meal) and breakfast well catered for also (only gripe would be certain foods could be hotter). Staff were always polite and helpful especially Grace in restaurant and John the pool attendant.
