Bitacora Lanzarote Club

Everything perfect except for the cost (& state) of the WiFi. The WiFi was VERY poor & at €25 for the week, you’d expect it to be better. Room - couldn’t fault it, food - couldn’t fault it…. The staff are amazing, every aspect, bar, pool, reception. Hotel room cleaned every other day. If I had to gripe about anything, it would be the WiFi & the fact that a couple of people were robbed whilst we were there, so security probably could be better. Great location, only one big hill to navigate & if I can cope with it, most can. Overall, great 2 week stay, thank you

This is a lovely friendly holiday complex with lovely amenities. The complex is lovely and clean with a lovely pool with great facilities..The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating and couldn’t do enough for us .We couldn’t really fault this complex and would highly recommend this accommodation for a lovely holiday.

Came for a week during Cheltenham and Paddy's day. With the kids so wanted to spend alot of time around the pool and pool bar. Pool bar was very busy with one Scottish girl working extra hard without any help on her own and she was fantastic but we also felt sorry for her the place was chaos! Service was very slow so we did not eat here or return for drinks. The owners of these bars must get more staff or loose customers like myself. Hotel was very clean and reception are very friendly.

Stayed at Bitacora in August 2024 with my wife and daughter. First of all I must say the Bitacora is NOT on cardiac hill ! Yes it's located up the hill but incline isn't that bad when you get used to it and we found 3 or 4 different ways back to hotel. We had emailed ahead requesting an upper floor room as with us being 2 able bodied adults and a 15yr old we have no bother up and down stairs, but on arrival we were informed this wasn't possible , ok no problem. The room we were given was downstairs, clean and large enough for us but no privacy as veranda wide open to guests, no sun on veranda and a view of the pool , in fact rooms 104 to 120 have no sun at all and over the course of our stay we noticed ALL the 1st floor rooms were occupied by either young families who had to try and carry pushchairs,inflatables etc or elderly who struggled with the stairs. Now onto the sunbed wars , yes wars ! You have to queue from 8.30am for the pool to open anytime from 9am to 9.45am depending on the mood of the pool cleaner. My wife queued one morning and had to run and use the towels as Frisbees to get 3 sunbeds ! She said she never felt so embarrassed in her life , needless to say we only used pool twice in 10 days and went to beach instead. As usual sunbeds had towels on them all day and weren't used definitely needs policing. We brought this up with the gentleman on reception who informed us "it happens everywhere " no sir it doesn't. Been to PDC twice before and many other resorts on Europe over 20 years and never been as bad as here . May return to Bitacora at a quieter time of tear but definitely not in July/August there simply isn't enough sunbeds , we counted around 90 beds to over 100 rooms .

We stayed at the Bitacora for the first time. The rooms are spacious and enough room around the pool area. There is a hill which would not suit anyone with walking disabilities. The restaurant is ideal. Nice food, friendly staff and sky sports football.The only negative comment is you have to pay for WiFi 3 euros daily or like us 25 euros for week. Did say they were hoping to have it put in next year. Overall,had a lovely stay.

OK for one night but i wouldn't like to have to spend any longer in this complex. If you have limited mobility It is situated on a steep hill which has very slippery tiles on the pavement. We noticed the locals were using the road to walk on. Wifi is expensive at 6 euros a day per phone/ipad. The apartment was very basic but clean apart from the sofa bed which had seen better days. Outside space is very limited and the apartments are really close together giving you very little privacy. If you don't mind the tightly packed rows of sunbeds round the pool you will be fine. One night here was plenty and it served its purpose. Staff we met were nice and friendly.
