JS Portocolom Suites

Esta nuevo , son mini apartamentos muy útiles y cómodos , limpios y bonitos . Al rededor tiene unos bares pero nada de producto local y necesitas coche si te alojas allí .

Spent a week here with my teen daughter. Pool is great and even in August never a sunbed battle. Always 2 or more available whenever we visited the pool. Pool bar staff are amazing and work long hours but always happy and smiling. Room size good for the two of us as we could be together or apart as needed with a teen. WiFi decent- again a must for teens. 5-10 minute walk to a decent and safe beach. Beach shops nearby too for the inflatables and endless bracelets. Plenty of restaurants around as we didn’t have food included in the booking we made. One thing to be aware of if you book coach transport from the airport it can take a long time as it stops at other resorts before hand. That was the only downside and not the hotels! Fridge in the room but could be a little bigger as not everyone has food included in their booking. Al in all it’s a good and safe place to stay. Lots of families of various nationalities too so that’s lovely as not all Brits!

Stayed here before in 2023. Positives remain the professional and quality of most* staff. Rooms very bright spacious and clean, brilliant housekeeping staff. Food quality in our opinion has diminished somewhat, hard to go through each dish but generally the quality not quite there as our last visit. I had a slight stomach upset after the Pork cheek disk..The coffee and tea machines are really, really bad quality and regularly break down. The main reason for our decision not to return would be the restaurant manager ( a rotund bald bespectacled gentleman) on numerous occasions we noted him reprimanding his staff in full view of hotel guests. When entering the restaurant he would tell people where to sit, I challenged him on one occasion and you could tell he was not used to being told NO by a grown male adult. Lovely clean pool again with friendly bar staff. The addition of the gym is a great one but the no under 16 rule is not policed so it becomes a free for all. On last visit the percentage of German/ English tourists was 70/30 but on our stay we only heard one other English family, obviously not an issue but on this occasion we found our fellow European travellers to be less interactive and communicating than last time, another side effect of Brexit perhaps? Will we back? no, but that should not stop other guests from coming. Like everything in life and travel if you can this stay at a good rate then I would cautiously recommend the JS Porto colom suites.
